“Very Nice”

very nice hotels... got an excellent room. very close to center of the city... 3-5 min by taxi. located on a quite street only a few meters off main road. would recommend.

“Great hotel for shoppers”

With the hotel just around the corner from the longest high street shopping centre in Italy and a 30 min walk to the city centre and designer shops, this hotel is perfect for a weekend shopping trip. The facilities are great and the room I had was very good and was pleased with my choice. The only down-side to my experience was the moody and frosty lady on reception when I checked in and out. Perhaps the desk people need to be reminded regularly that they are often the first real experience of Italian service and people so perhaps they should think about this more!

“Great hotel”

we enjoyed our staying, the designing of the room was beautiful. realy nice and varied breakfast. the hotel provided a complimentary umbrella which was very useful in rainy days. good central location - near a shopping area and a metro station. big minus - there is no free wi-fi in the hotel.

“Comfortable Hotel with Helpful Staff”

We only stayed one night at this hotel, but we were very happy with the hotel and would definitely stay at the Starhotels Ritz if we come back to Milan. What impressed us the most was the frontdesk staff. They were very genuinely nice and friendly and helpful. We were provided with useful information about the city that made our short visit very pleasant. The room was attractive and very comfortable. Only one very minor negative comment could be made; the towels all smelled like smoke for some reason. Overall a very good experience and we hope to be back.

“A pleasant surprise in Milano”

I chose this hotel because it appeared to be centrally located and not pricey. I was pleasantly surprised to find that despite the moderate room rate, the hotel was a great choice. The location was excellent for walking to the Duomo and fashion district. The hotel staff were very accomodating and helpful. The entertainment in the Lounge was wonderful.

“Great Value”

This hotel is located about a 15 minute walk from the central train station and a 15 minute walk from the Duomo area, so for us it was a great location. Rooms were very nice and the bed comfortable. The hotel breakfast was really good too. Our only complaint is that they had only one computer which didn't always work and had no printer for boarding passes and they charged 2 euros to use it.

“Milan is a superb City”

Starhotels Ritz is in an excellent position for exploring the delights of Milan. It is near to the Lima Metro Station,with a cost of 1 euro to get to the central city area. The hotel is just off a main busy shopping street so is excellent for browsing the shops. It is in a quiet location, and the hotel is clean, in all respects. it has comfortable and well maintained rooms, with ensuite facilities, and had a good range of food on offer for breakfast. I would certainly recommend this hotel for travellers to Milan. And while you are in Milan, visit the roof top resturant of La Rinascente department store by the Cathedral. Really excellent outdoor eating, and if it happens to be wet, there are also indoor resturants. Milan is a great city and ideal for weekend breaks. Don't forget that Malpensa Airport is 29 miles away from town, so jump on the train at 11 euros at the airport and then transfer onto Metreo 1 line for the Lima Metro station and the Hotel Star Ritz. Enjoying yourselves will not be a problem in Milan !!

“Very satisfied”

Good location for the price, about a 1/2 hour walk from the Duomo. Staff was quite helpful and spoke English. Room & lobby were spotlessly clean, with pleasant decor. This hotel will not disappoint.

“Fantastic experience”

Just came back from our first trip to Milan. Star hotel ritz was an absolutely perfect hotel for us. On a quite street just off the main road. The check in was very smooth with an upgrade to a superior room, which was extremely kind of them. Superior room had an extremely comfortable king bed, sitting area, flat screen TV, coffee, tea making facility, modern bathroom with brilliant shower/bath. the hotel staff was very helpful with restaurant recommendations etc. Breakfast was oretty good as well with fair choice. For location, as per previous reviews, its just off a busy shopping area, but mind you its not the top market fashion district (those are conviniently located a short metro ride away) except for few, most of these are high street shops like nike, puma, levis, furla etc. However the area feels safe and commutable within 5-10 min to pretty much all the major sites. we went to Duomo everyday for meals etc and it took us not more then 10 mins door to door. Overall a great modern hotel with extremely friendly staff. Im keen to try other Starhotels Ritz across Italy now.

ASK HOTEL STAFF FOR GOOD AND NOT EXPENSIVE RESTORANTS AROUND THE AREA THEY'VE BEEN VERY HELPFUL WITH RESERVATIONS
