Lovelly hotel 20 minutes from the centre.

Went for 3 days break lovely hotel in 20 minutes u r in duomo the city centre...lovelly staff....overall a excellent experience..definitely would came back.

Too far out of the way and food too expensive

Pros: Staff
Cons: More choice on the menu and better prices.
Location: Nothing to do
On the outskirts where really there is nothing to see. Very expensive food, 6 Euro for Water!!!!! A meal for two would cost in excess of 100 Euro and for that you got a limited menu. Breakfast okay,. but no beans were served. Staff quite nice overall.

very accessible to transportation - buses, subways

Pros: Very clean and staff very resourceful.
Cons: perhaps include light breakfast with the package
Location: very close to public transportation - subway line, busses, streetcars, trollies.
I enjoyed the stay. Room was great and so was the service.

BUT, your breakfast menu was too narrow to local dish as well as dinner menu. We find it hard to comprehend your dinner menu was very scanty and even the availeble once were mainly various flavour of pizza and bologness. please look it very urgently. Thanks.

Clean and comfortable

Family enjoyed the facilities; Gym and pool. Breakfast Buffet covered all demands.

My birthday surprise

Pros: Amazing room/suite, location wasn't actually that bad either, outdoor garden, breakfast
Cons: Heated pool, better mannered, helpful night staff, we're payign customers after all!!!!!- Apologised I made them do something other than watch footbal
Location: We didn't really explore near by but from the maps etc and travel into the centre - 20 mins if that and was ok
Was taken here by my partner and I loved the place - Bruno on reception was great. Only thing was the night time staff - not as helpful as the day. Request were not dealt with at all including non working sound system and phone. Wanted to order juice whilst I sat outside one night and told I needed to go back to my room and order room service??? I was sat two feet from where room service are! - Crazy The pool was freezing, shame as it should be heated. Really loved this place though and would go back to this exact hotel but this time I'll be raising hell if I receive the same level of negative help (exc Bruno)

Nice but a bit far out!

Pros: Comfy clean rooms
Cons: Menu in the hotel was rather limited, include the 5E city tax in with the expedia cost.
Location: Lake Como is a must!
If you want to see central Milan the hotels a bit too far out as it takes about 30 mins to get to the centre. There are great tram, bus and train links of which the bus and tram links are just around the corner from the hotel and the metro is about 10 mins walking distance. The hotel staff were very helpful and they provided the necessary information we required in order to get to and from Milan and Lake Como. They also supplied us with the necessary tickets to access the local transport which saved time purchasing them from the local shops which seemed far and few between as you cannot use cash on the transport system. The hotel arranged for one of their taxis to take us to the airport at 5 in the morning and it was cheaper than using the local taxis. On the down side the pool was not always available to be used and the city tax adds a hefty 5E per person which is paid directly to the hotel when leaving.
