“Here's an Idea Hotel Milano Watt Tredici”
Thsi was a really great hotel with friendly staff, but I have two things I would like the Hotel to improve; 1. The external sign for the hotel is very very easily missed, so you can end up driving up and down the road looking for it. 2. Keep tokens for the trams as the Tabac which supposedly sells them is closed in the evening ( well it was when I was there), so I had to travel into Milano centre without paying the fare...made me feel so uneasy, I booked a taxi back to the hotel.
“Excellent quality to price ratio - out of the way”
Excellent hotel, very good price, young clientele, very good breakfast, nice decor. Location is inconvenient, and so is parking. Public transportation is far away and requires walking through isolated areas of the city. The front desk personnel is proficient in english but have very limited knowledge of the city and therefore not able to be particularly helpful.
“Surprising”
This Hotel has a very modern look. The decoration is simple, using plane colors and lights to create effects. The rooms are comfortable and practical and for the price you could expect something mediocre: but it's not. You need to take the bus and the metro to get to the city attractions but it's very easy to do it. The cost of the taxis are also very affordable in case of need. The breakfast buffet included it's also very good and diverse, very nicely presented.
“Nice hotel in a cosy part of Milan”
Hotel is located next to Naviglio Grande, although to get to the restaurant/bar area you need to take the bus (3 stops). Area is very quite and easily accessible by car. Hotel is quite new, maybe rooms are a bit small, but it's a minor issue. Service and quality of breakfast is ok.
“Nice hotel, strange area!”
This hotel is either quite new or has been recently refurbished to a good standard. It is very minimalist in style. The rooms are not huge but are very comfortable and clean. Beds are large and confortable. The area in which the hotel is located is not the most salubrious, and so the views from the rooms are not wonderful, but we had no problems at all whilst walking around late at night or any other time. (Milan has an unenviable graffiti problem almost everywhere) The staff were delightful, all spoke excellent English and couldn't do enough to help. There are several restaurants nearby, we tried 3 and all were very good. Eating out in Milan is not cheap and the cheapest was pizza and drinks for 4 at about £85.00. The hotel has menus in the rooms but didn't appear to have the restaurant open in the evenings. Breakfast was 9 euros each, and was very good. It is easy to get to the city centre by tram, the stop being a short walk from the hotel. A day return ticket is only 3 euros and the trams are wonderful, most on that route being at least 100 years old. Overall we felt that this hotel was excellent value for money, with the exception of the hotel bar, which is very very expensive. You can always buy some supplies at the small supermarket down the road. The hotel is close enough to the centre, very clean and comfortable, and we would probably stay there again if we go back to Milan and don't want to spend a fortune! A good 8/10
“excellent hotel”
good location - not central but 2 mins walk to tram which runs straight to 'duomo'. Close to Metro - 3 tram stops or 10 mins walk from hotel. Lively bar 300 meters from hotel - walking distance to restaurants. Rooms are smal but adequate - good choice for breakfast - All staff very friendly !
“Looks can be deceiving”
The hotel is ideally located just a few tram stops from Duomo. The reception staff are polite, and checking in is quick and efficient. Breakfast is dire, the food quality is excellent, but they are very short staffed. In three days never managed to get a seat downstairs, and the buffet disappeared very quickly. You daren't sleep in, should you miss out. Stayed with friends, my room, had a lovely balcony overlooking the main street. Theirs looked out across other rooms. Impossible to ask for a change of rooms they simply refused. Even though we paid the same price. Asking for directions and where to go to enjoy Milan was also a shortfall of the hotel. They were more than willing to offer maps, but simple guides on how and where to use trams and buy tickets, they were unable to provide. They offered some of the comforts of a brand name hotel, but fell short on many areas. When you are not located in the heart of Milan you feel you need the hotels help, assistance, to enjoy the city. This hotel was only willing to offer you a place to sleep at night. It felt like a bed and breakfast, without the breakfast.
“Good Overall”
Our rooms were generally fine, adequately furnished and with good, comfortable beds, although the choice of some of the bathroom materials has been unfortunate. The staff were all helpful and friendly and the breakfasts were excellent, with plenty of variety. The hotel is in a slightly out of the way location, and this may be a downside for some, but it still within walking distance of the Navigli area and metro stations, with frequent trains into the centre. We were happy with the hotel overall and would have no hesitation in staying there again.
“Our stay at Watterdici Hotel”
The stay was pleasant however the rooms were fairly small. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. The location of the hotel is not very central - you would need to get a tram (the stop is a 5 min walk away from the hotel) into the city centre. The hotel reception and bar area is very funky.
“Idea Hotel Milano Watttredici à Milan : excellent rapport qualité prix”
un excellent rapport qualité/prix, avec un tram direct jusqu'au Duomo chambre confortable petit déjeuner copieux, de qualité

Navigli, Milan, Italy: Like Pariss Left Bank, this area is awash with artisans, painters and tourists.
