“Good location in Pota Genova, walkable to historic centre, Navigli and other sights”
xx
“Location”
Hotel location is good for shopping.
“Small rooms but friendly and helpful staff”
Not the prettiest looking hotel but a good location in the Navligli district of Milan. Our standard room (and the bathroom) was very small - and we're not big people! There was only just enough room to squeeze past the chair tucked underneath the bench/desk whilst pulling a suitcase, but this was necessary as there was nowhere to store the suitcases other than in the main room. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful, and the buffet breakfast was a decent quality.
“"great check in service, neighbourhood"”
First impressions excellent as Ricky at reception was friendly, efficient and had great English. Rooms cosy - our suitcase only just fit by the end of the bed and we had to slide by each other to get out of the door but if you're there for sightseeing and not spending time in the room then it's fine. Rooms clean and air con worked well (thank God) Great brekky buffet with a toaster and mix of hot and cold food. Location in lovely quiet neighbourhood. Good location for Piazza Duomo and Da Vinci's Last Supper - about 20min walk to both, but a definite taxi ride from Milan's Central Train Station. 2 good restaurants only minutes away - The Bicycle Bar is a funky art cafe/bar that serves yummy free tapas from 6pm and bigger meals if desired. Gets very busy after 8pm. Across the road is La Bolognese - a more traditional Italian experience with good food and friendly wait staff.
“ADEQUATE HOTEL”
basic, clean, convenient for shops and Duomo (10 minutes) and 10 minutes from canal area. Could be little rushed at breakfast, as dining room not v big.
“Reasonable”
Decent enough hotel. Staff were pleasant enough, without going hugely out of their way. Area was OK and easy enough to get to from central Milan on the cheap Milan metro (€1 per journey) and was ideal for exploring the bars and restaurants in the Navigli (sp?) canal area. Breakfast was included and was a good continental buffet. The room was small but clean.
“A nice option”
The hotel is in a very good location and it is quite nice. I do reccomend the breakfast, which is one of the best.
“Nice place small rooms”
Rooms were nice and clean, but very small. The area was decent and just a short walk to restaurants. It was a little noisy but nothing out of the ordinary for a hotel in the city. The breakfast was also very good.
“Small but Clean and Cute”
We had an overall good experience at this hotel. The rooms and elevators are small for us Americans, but nice and clean. My husband and I had to take turns walking around the room....not enough space for two to walk around the bed. The TV was suppose to have English language programs, but in our case, our BBC, kept speaking in German. When asked the desk staff, they said they would look into it.....never got the English channels.....Staff were helpful and friendly.
“stay away will never recommend this place to anyone”
totally over described , found our room extremely small , to the extent that you can't walk in the room without jumping across the bed , could not even open your luggage , extremely claustrophobic , we had to check out and change plans as we couldn't spend another night there , hotel wouldn't consider any refund for the unused night claiming that it had been paid already to expedia , furniture looks very tired , bathroom not that clean either, neighborhood you can do better , does not qualify as close to Dumo at all. in my oinion, 2 stars are way too much for it.
