Top class hotel

Posted 06-Nov-2014
Pros: The hotel is luxurious and the staff are amazing.
Cons: A fantastic hotel with everything that you need BUT YOU DO PAY FOR IT. Hideous prices. No tea/coffee in room as they want you to pay for it. ie 10euro
Location: Central in the city close to the main central railway station. Try to fly to Linate airport and not Malpase airport as its much closer.
Another great week had at a luxurious hotel in a luxurious city. Ideally situated for getting around the city with a limousine service provided down to the main cathedral square, though it only takes 15 minutes to walk. A nice touch nevertheless.

Posted 30-Aug-2014 on Hotels.com

Lovely Hotel

Posted 20-Aug-2014
Pros: The limousine service which dropped off at three different locations in town. I thought this was a nice touch.
Cons: Information about any changes Milan as I didn't realise until after I had booked that in Milan a lot of shops and restaurants are closed in August.
Location: The locations is near the financial district.
The hotel was lovely. The staff are all very friendly, personable and extremely helpful. The hotel was about 15 mins walk from town. I always choose a hotel which has a gym, pool and sauna and/or steam room which is why I chose this hotel. I was disappointed that the pool and sauna were being refurbished and I had not been informed. The hotel stated that they had informed those who had booked direct but it was up to Expedia (who the hotel said they had informed) to have informed me. I was not informed by Expedia as if I had been, I would have liked the option to have changed to a hotel with the facilities I like to be included.

Excellent

Vakkert luksushotell midt i Milano

Posted 07-Jun-2014
Pros: Stilen, staben, maten, rommet, spa, beliggenheten nær tog stasjonen.
Cons: Ingenting.

Nickels and Dimes

The Principe di Savoia is a wonderful hotel. It is a gem in a city of gems, hotels and otherwise. Our room was beautiful. The lobby and public areas are magnificent. The hotel has only one problem: once you're committed to paying $650-plus per night for your room, you will be charged exorbitantly for anything and everything you need or want. Breakfast is 45 Euros per person. A bottle of water from the minibar is 8 Euros -- more than $11 at today's rates. Laundering a shirt is 20 Euros, pants are 45. Drinks at the bar are 20 Euros. And at 450 Euros a night for the room, an extra charge of 29 Euros for 24 hours of "high-speed" internet is insulting. Would I stay there again? Sure - if someone else is willing to pay for it.
