“Milan hotel”
Good location, comfortable clean beds, good breakfast. Couple of small irritations - tea and coffee making facilities but no milk! also no shampoo provided. However everything else good.
“Excellent location with great transport links”
The hotel room was a bit small but the room quality was very good and the hotel staff were friendly and could speak clear English. It was quite hot in the room as the hotel could only have the AC or the heat on onlu so we had to have the window open where there was a lot of noise as the hotel is off a busy street. However the location was excellent with all the high street shops on the road where the hotel is situated and the metro was right outside so we could travel to the City centre very easily and quickly. Also the main Central station was nearby so we were able to travel to the other parts of Italy very easily. There was a variety of food places all nearby due to the location. Therfore based on the location I would recommend this hotel again.
“Very disappointing”
The hotel looked so attractive with a favourable write up on it's website. However nothing could be further from the truth which is what I experienced firsthand with my family of 5. The list of dissatisfactions is endless: failure to clean rooms properly (leaving dirty cups and unclean bath/toilet everyday), broken shower head bracket (the shower would not hang properly and kept flopping down), key card to room failing to work multiple times, Internet terminals constantly not working, smoking from other rooms/floors went through the vent system into our rooms - very unpleasant for young children and non smokers. Pool at cold temperature - could not use it, room aircon system not working - leaving the rooms overheated every day causing lack of sleep. Problems endless. Total waste of money. Would not recommend hotel to anyone. Go and stay in San biblia or near the duomo you will have a better experience.
“Met all my expectations :)”
I was quite anxious when booking my accomodation for Milan as I had left it quite late. The weekend of my stay was also one of Milan's busiest with the the Formula One Grand Prix being held in nearby Monza and finding accomodation had proven difficult. I was concerned that I was paying a little more than I would usually but it was worth it and I would definitely stay here again. The staff were helpful and highly efficient; the room was immaculate and the location was perfect with it being close to the shopping district and a gateway for all of Milan's major attractions.
“Great Hotel”
We went for a four day break and could not fault the hotel or its position. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Very good location with the Metro stop right outside the hotel. We went for the day to Lake Como and the staff printed us a timetable for the trains and told us which was the best way to go.
“It's not bad”
nice, clean, good breakfast, but noisy — our windows were to the front street and bikes were running all night.
“Convenient Accomodations”
I stayed at Galles Milan on a 2-day trip. Although renovations were being done directly beside our room, we were never bothered by any staff or extra noise. The room was more spacious than I had expected and quite comfortable. Upon arrival we did struggle with out safe and had to request help twice before someone was sent to our room. Once they arrived, the safe was quickly fixed and we were able to get on our way. We were beyond impressed with the free breakfast. It was absolutely wonderful and we thoroughly enjoyed all of the wonderful food provided. Any free breakfast in the USA would be pale in comparison! The location by the metro stop Lima was very convenient. I would warn that you can hear the subway sounds in the morning but we were never disturbed by the noise. We took the metro both days into the city and had a fantastic trip in Milan in part due to this very convenient hotel!

n excellent value for money stay at a clean modern hotel with the most helpful of staff.Location 5-10 mins from Duomo area by underground all in all had a great stay
“Satisfactory Hotel for 1 or 2 Nights”
This hotel is really a Best Western. The lobby is nice and our room itself was fine because we were only staying one night. We booked a standard room and it was small, although the bathroom was a good size (considering it's Europe). The bathroom was clean, as was the room. However, the room smelled faintly of smoke and the bed was just so-so in terms of comfort. The location is very good, as there is a Metro stop just steps from the hotel and several small cafes/restaurants right outside the hotel (it's still a quite neighborhood though, no street noise to worry about). Also, the hotel staff were very nice, we had no problem communicating with them in English. They gave us excellent directions for getting around, and we could purchase tickets for the Metro at the front desk. However, next time I would probably stay in a hotel that is located in the central part of town.
“convenient hotel with tiny rooms”
The hotel is ok. Rooms have good beds and are clean. Bathrooms and showers are claustrophobic. WIFI works well. BReakfast is free and is OK (not great). The location is excellent, right next to a subway station.
