“Functional, convenient to station”
A hotel that is 10 minutes from the main station. A bit dated. Unfortunately when we were there a very loud and drunk young Russian tour group ruined any chance of a good night sleep.
“Not impressed”
Long checkout, wi-fi at 10 Euros/2 hours. Good location.
“Hotel Nazioni not up to par”
We were only at the hotel for one night prior to flying home, but it was a bad choice nonetheless. The rooms, even the non-smoking rooms, smelled smoky. Ours was so bad that we had to change rooms. The second room was better, but still had that lingering cigarette smoke smell. Mosquitoes were a problem; we had to kill several, and it was obvious that other guests had done the same as there were dead mosquitoes plastered on the walls. Not very good cleaning. Breakfast is not included.
“Worst place to stay during my 5 week vacation through Europe”
I chose this hotel for different reasons...reviews, location and near train station. I've not had any other hotel/B&B/motel ask to see everyones passports and still don't know why they wanted to see everyones who was staying there. Having my passport and identification is understandable. When we got to the hotel and checked-in the room we were put in was dirty, things broken, etc. I went back downstairs and asked to see the manager and was informed (from the man that checked us in and I wish I had gotten his name) that he was not in Milan at the time. When asked if there was anything that he could do I explained the issues and he said he could try putting us in another room...I also told him how he had not been courteous and that everything from when I walked in the door was the worst experience I had on my trip so far. He did give us another room to look at and the heat/air con did not work although it was a bit cleaner. While we were changing rooms, the phone rang and it was a different man from the front desk who said he had another room to show me. He brought the key up himself and the room was somewhat better. We took the 3rd room and were glad when our stay was over. Now to be fair we did finally see a sign saying they were in the middle of working on the hotel so to please excuse the mess or something like that.
“Bad hotel”
The hotel room was very small. The worst thing it was full of mosquitos as if we were in a jungle. It appeared that other people had the same problem before as the walls had stains from before. The AC was so old that it was more noisy than effective. Once we killed all the mosquitos there were more coming in most likely from a vent connected to the AC. I breathed a sigh of relief once out of the hotel. One of the worst experiences i had in a hotel.
“WORST HOTEL IN EUROPE”
I've never stayed in a hotel worse than this one. We arrived and the rudest receptionist gave us our key and room number. Our room was disgusting--there were literally smashed mosquitoes on the wall and crumbs all over the floor. When we asked the receptionist to have the room cleaned the next day he told us the room wasn't dirty and it wasn't possible to clean the bugs off the wall. Furthermore our bathroom door was broken and wouldn't close because the wooden hinge was broken off. I absolutely hated staying here and would warn everyone to avoid it. The service was the worst I've ever had in my life and I always dreaded returning to our room. I wish this hotel would go out of business. It was awful. Our requests were never taken seriously and I felt like we were treated terribly. NEVER STAY IN THIS HOTEL
“It was Okay...”
The hotel itself was really nice, and the hotel's staff were amazing! Very helpful! The only problem we came across was the breakfast, it cost an additional 9 euros per person (or to be included from the beginning, it was 20 euro more than a normal room). Otherwise, the breakfast *looked* really good, but was too expensive for us college students to buy. Would recommend the hotel.
“Basically good”
We had just a quick stop in Milan and needed somewhere near the train station that was convenient and basic. The room faced the street and was very warm, but it was too bright and noisy to open the windows. The room did not have towels when we arrived, but they were quickly provided when we asked. Breakfast was good and the lobby area was very nice. Overall it was fine for what we needed, but I would not recommend for a longer stay.
“Good value for the price”
Clean & convenient to Milan Centrale. Price was very reasonable. Overall it was very satisfactory for a quick overnight. Be aware that the wi-fi is not free. And if you have an aversion to fake flowers you might want to find another place-- the lobby was over-loaded with plastic roses!
“Good for location but otherwise avoid”
The hotel was in a great location, 2 blocks from the Milan Central Station. The hotel itself was a bit old. The rooms were decent size. The bathroom was a nice size but very old, the shower was pretty nasty, tiles missing and mold. At night, we lost hours of sleep hunting down mosquitos (it just had rained, don't know if it's related).
