The location is very good. Room interiors were very average. Bathroom size is extremely small.

Cutting edge comfort close to the centre.

Posted 30-Jul-2014
Pros: Location, suite size, cleanliness and very good soundproofing.
Cons: WiFi connection.
Location: Within walking distance of duomo, La Scala. Excellent Metro, bus and tram links.
Stayed in a suite to enable use to share a room with our son. Requested a quiet room and 228 certainly was. Extremely comfortable beds in a spacious, high-tech room. Very clean accommodation. Friendly and helpful staff. Plenty of choice for breakfast. Slight quibble would be having to pay for WiFi which regularly dropped out. Not cheap but you are in an expensive city! Overall an exceptionally good city hotel.

Good location

Posted 24-Jul-2014
Pros: The location
Cons: The hotel could up grade their entrance! And overall decor!
Location: Great shopping near by. Also 5 minute walk gets you to the Brera district with nice restaurants and shopping.
Located in 10 minute walking distance from the famous shopping area and the Brera restaurant district. Our room was a bit small but very clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Hotel Cavour Milan

Posted 21-Jul-2014 on Hotels.com
The only drawback is that the insulation isn't one that provides the greatest quiet - rugs cover only the middle part of the room floors and the chairs at the tables at the front of the rooms can be heard scraping along the floor above your head if you happen to have a person above you that does such things. You can also easily hear the maids in the hallways in the morning or people coming in late or going out early if you'd like to sleep in a bit. So, do yourself a favor and bring ear plugs if occasional noise bothers you. Outside of that, the hotel is lovely, has a grand restaurant, the location is ideal (reasonable cab fare from the train station because it's quite close) and the staff is absolutely lovely - full of information and very affable, friendly & available. The rates are quite reasonable also I found for the height of the season. I would surely return to the Cavour.

The hotel staff was very helpful and made my stay very comfortable. It met all my needs for my short stay and was very central in location. It was good value for money.

Perfect for what we needed

Posted 04-Jul-2014 on Hotels.com
We had arranged several day trips while in Milan so we wanted to be within walking distance of the Duomo (about 15 min by foot). High end shopping was just around the corner and there were many good places to eat in the la brera section - again within 10 minutes walk. The hotel staff were friendly, hotel was very clean with typical european breakfast. Wifi was not included in our room rate (8 euro a day). "Fancier" rooms were available but we were hardly in our room so it was fine for us since it had all amenities and was clean and in very good condition

Ideal location for the centre of Milan

Posted 23-Jun-2014
Pros: Its location enables you to walk to all the important central Milan tourist spots
Cons: A complete renovation of the interior
Location: Visit The Duomo, the grand arcade, high fashion shops and La Scala Opera House. Turin would be the first choice major city to visit.
The hotel is now looking in need of a renovation and presents as a basic 3 star level.
