Be prepared to take a taxi to anything worth seeing in Milan, though, as the Capitol is definitely not walkable. The reception staff, while very well meaning, are ill equipped to cater to tourists (i.e., no city map with highlights, no recommendations of where to eat or what to see). Parking on the streets nearby is available and easy, once you figure out the arcane metering system. Bathroom was back-breakingly tiny. The caponata from the restaurant was outstanding.
