Staff are not helpful

Posted 10-Jun-2014
I booked through expedia for one perso as i was going to visit my boyfriend. I callwd up at the time of booking to check if it was ok for two people to stay in the room, and if i needed to pay anything additional, i was assured that it was fine. Got to the hotel and i was told i needed to pay 20 euros extra for every night! And was given no explanation as to why i was told i didn't need to on the phone. I also booked a king size room - which was just two single beds pushed together! When i enquired at the desk why this was, i was told that this is how their king size beds are?! The room was pretty standard, but the breakfast is overpriced. Definitely isn't worth the price you pay.

Beautiful hotel, charming service, great location

Posted 27-May-2014 on Hotels.com
This is a beautiful hotel with an absolutely charming staff! Don't be fooled by the location on the map - it is only one block from the M3 subway line and four subway stops (ten minutes) from the center, the Duomo, the Palazzo Real, and other sights. The Navigli canal district is a nice 45-minute walk or easy tram ride. The neighborhood near the hotel is very un-touristy and elegant, with a large park about 15 minutes by foot (great for kids), plus there is a large grocery store and a good-sized natural market within four blocks, in case eating out gets old. The gym is very adequate (and free) and the breakfast is fantastic. I will definitely come again!

Never again

Posted 22-Dec-2013
Pros: Can't think of anything in particular.
Location: We chose it because it was somewhat close to Bacconni University.
One of the reasons for selecting this hotel was the pool. Only upon our arrival we found out that we need to pay extra to use the pool. Some of the staff was inexperienced and have us wrong information.

Charming hotel.

Posted 26-Oct-2013
Pros: This hotel had staff who were friendly and helpful - nothing was too much trouble. And, importantly, they were pleased to help.
Cons: Free wifi in the rooms instead of a free two hour slot in the reception area.
Location: There were restaurants within walking distance - meals not a problem. Always went into the centre so have no experience of things to do nearby.
This hotel was a short walk from the Metro Station and within 15 minutes you could be in the Duomo. The breakfast was excellent with something for everyone.

Old, but clean

Posted 05-Oct-2013 on Hotels.com
Hotel feels very dated. Rooms are clean, but otherwise not noteworthy. Swimming pool costs extra. Breakfast is unremarkable (see review of their restaurants online and you'll understand why).

Good location with parking on-site

Posted 17-Sep-2013
Pros: On-site parking and it's a 5-minute walk from the Metro station meaning you can get in to the city within 10-minutes.
Cons: Breakfast was of a very poor quality, given the nature of the hotel.
Location: Great location as it's outside the ZTL, near to a Metro station and there are a number of good restaurants located nearby.
We only stayed for one night as we were passing through Milan on our way back to the UK. We needed somewhere outside of the ZTL congestion zone, with on-site parking and with close proximity to a Metro station so we could explore the city for a few hours. The hotel was ideally suited for this.
