I just spent 5 days at the Peninsula NYC on holiday
I cannot fault it, the concierge team are very helpful and everything I asked was answered.
I would recommend this hotel to anyone. My only complaint would be the expense of the drinks, We never ate in the hotel so cannot comment on that one!!
Overall thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would go again
From top to bottom this is a exceptional hotel. We stayed in the Towers from a Sunday to Saturday and did not have one problem. Location was great. Time square 15 minute walk. Top of the Rock, 10 minutes. Different subway lines 5 minutes in different directions. We stayed in room 5318 and it had a wonderful view of St Patrick's Cathedral. In the Towers reception area, Ann Marie helped us with all our needs, she was great.
The staff were fantastic! They met us at the door with a smile after a very stressful drive in, greeted us every morning, checked in with us every night, and truly cared about how our meetings and day went! We couldn't ask for more.
Rooms are a little small for the U.S. And no coffee makers in rooms. Extra fee for WiFi annoying. I love the lobby and bar areas! Classic vintage elegance. This and the location and price are the reasons to stay here.
There are many tiny hotel rooms in NYC that are portrayed larger than they really are. The Pod does the exact opposite and it is brilliant. I loved it. I liked that the room was void of all the unnecessary extras that just make clutter. I will definitely stay there again.
