Good location. Not worth the money.

Posted 27-Mar-2015
Pros: Location
Cons: They need to be patron oriented. Valet parking $35.00 daily. Better off parking in municipal lot on 13th off COnline Ave.
Location: Lincoln Road, Espinola Way all close by as are restaurants and shopping.
No place to put car upon check in. No bell service upon check in. Rude valet appeared after we self parked and were told we couldn't park there. Room not configured the way we reserved it. Requested two beds. Had to settle for one and pull out sofa. Room very small. Cooperative chambermaid who provided extra towels. TV didn't work. Think hotel which changed from Nash to Stiles in January is a work in progress. Very small pools that are mostly shaded. Claustrophobic feel to pool area. All in all, very disappointing. $15.00 daily resort fee gets you beach chair on beach. For an umbrella the cost is another $15.00. Puhleeze!

Hotel close to beach and Convention Center

Posted 24-Mar-2015
Pros: Very friendly greeting and assistance at the reception and entrance door!
Cons: Service at breakfast must be improved. It is very slow and partly unfriendly. It must also be possible to charge to the room.
Location: The beach is a block away and the Convention Center about 15 minutes walk.
Stayed at the hotel for an exhibition at the Convention Center. Unfortunately frequent sleep disturbances due to spring break and room doors being badly sound insulated. It is disappointing that the rooms have no chest of drawers for the clothes. Nice and clean.

Quiet hotel a block from the beach

Posted 18-Mar-2015
Pros: I liked the lemon water in the lobby, the chairs at the beach, beach towels provided by the hotel, my terrace and the staff
Cons: Lighting in the room. It was near impossible to put on make up with the poor lighting. A coffee pot, shelves in the bathroom and maybe a small dresser
Location: Close to everything. The beach, Lincoln Road. Eat at Puerto Sagua.
The hotel is in a really good location. It's one block from Ocean Drive and the Beach. Starbucks is around the corner and Walgreens is a few blocks away if you forget something at home. Good food (Puerto Sagua on 7th and Collins is economical and delicious breakfast lunch or dinner) and South Beach "rights of passage" drinking places (Wet Willies, the Clevelander, Fat Tuesdays and Mangos) are a few blocks away also. There are also local bars in the vicinity that are good if you'd rather not hit a club. The Versace mansion is around the corner also. The hotel is in a good spot because it's a good place to get away for quiet when you need it, but so close to the action too. The staff is pretty nice and friendly. The pools are a decent size. Too small if you're into doing laps, but perfect for escaping the heat, gliding around a bit and hanging out. The jacuzzi/hot tub is also a nice treat after the beach, at night or during a chillier day. The pool area gets limited sun (but some in certain spots at certain times) as it is street level and the buildings in South Beach are very close to one another. There are chairs and towels at the pool. The front desk will give you towels to hit the beach and the chairs can be obtained at the beach (the little booth is labeled 10th street). Try and reserve a room with a terrace (preferably on the top floor), you'll love it.

Beautiful hotel, great location, mediocre service

Posted 11-Mar-2015
First off I have to say the hotel itself is beautiful and in a fantastic location a block from the beach. We had a great time hopping back and forth between the south beach strip and the quiet hotel pools, and the entire stay was a great weekend. We stayed in the penthouse for 2 nights, which has an amazing wrap around private balcony and fantastic views. However, the hotel service left much to be desired. When we got to the room we found the refrigerator didnt work, and the hotel said they couldn't fix it. We'd brought perishable food with us so this was a significant annoyance- we threw the food out. Secondly, when we asked for extra bath towels nobody came, so we called back down 30 mns later to ask again. Finally, the service at breakfast was not great and the server forgot several things in our order. Overall I would still recommend the hotel, but call ahead to make sure the refrigerator is working and don't expect the service level of a 5 star resort.

Relaxing stay in South Beach

Posted 10-Mar-2015
Pros: Quiet, front desk staff and bartender were very nice. The beach umbrella/chair service they contract with was awesome!
Cons: While the hotel was clean and the lobby updated, the room less so--outlet plates were broken, window opening mechanism broken.
Location: Tons to see and do. we rented bikes, window shopped, had drinks, laid on the beach. it was heaven!
My sister and I stayed here for a short weekend escape from the snow. It was great! The restaurant wasn't open yet, so the hotel was perhaps more quiet than it will be in the future.

Great location! Walking distance to everywhere!

Posted 01-Mar-2015
Cons: Needs dresser!!!!!
Perfect location for the price. Very nice staff! Continental breakfast was a bonus, although the selection of fruit was minimal. Comfy bed and nice shower, but very little space for your clothes...no dresser/drawers.

Excellente situation pour profiter de Miami Beach

Posted 01-Mar-2015
Pros: Situation, personnel serviable
