“Excellent value and great location”

I have read negative comments about this hotel and can only put it down to the person being jet lagged! The people are extremely helpful and the hotel is highly recommended. It is 3 blocks from the sea.The rooms are basic but absolutely good enough. They have a slight homage to Art Deco and the furniture is fun. They also have free wi fi. If you have a car definitely take them up on the valet parking option. It is cheaper than any other option and is very flexible.

“Value for money hotel”

Location is great and the room was fine being clean and with the basics albeit on the small side.No frills hotel.No breakfast but News Cafe ( 3 mins)is great value especially the continental breakfast.Parking is a major problem Valet service available for $25/day or public car park nearby at $20/day.Receptionist was very helpful.

“Great location.”

Firstly the negative points WE had about the royal hotel. *noisy air conditioning units on the roof caused minor vibration in our room. * Broken window blinds. * Could not open windows/bars on windows. * Very odd furniture. Now the positives. * 2blocks/5 min walk to south beach and ocean drive. * Great local bus network outside the hotel. 25cent could get you all around south beach! * Free beach towels and Internet in reception. * Room was cleaned daily. * The ladies on reception where fantastic, loved to chat and help you with anything. You must bear in mind the fact it is an old, art deco hotel and at budget rates, when you book. If you arrive with very high expectations you may be disappointed, we did not and really enjoyed our holiday.
