“Perfect Location”

I was attending a seminar at the Hyatt Regency, and this Hotel was the perfect location, less than 1 min walk, the staff were friendly, efficient, and my room was spotlessly clean.

“More like a Crack house”

Save your money you are better off sleeping on the streets than this house. The place is really nasty walls, floor, beds ( our beds were FILLED with hair). Window was broken stayed there with my 2 yr old imagine my horror. Never again!!!!

“Great location but poor service, no porters to handle luggage.”

The location of the hotel is ideal for downtown shopping, two blocks away from Flagler Street and very close to the Miami Convention Center. Across the street is the free Metromover and one block away are bus stops that can take you to Aventura Mall or Miami Beach, Ocean Drive for a minimal fee. You can take a 20 min. walk to the famous Bayside or hop on the free Metromover. The quality of hotel service needs much more to be desired, the staff is not customer orientated and welcoming. They have no porters or bell boys to assist with your luggage you have to take your own luggage upstairs, make sure you are fit. Do not expect to get a coffee maker or hot water in your room to make a cup of tea or coffee. They do not have microwave ovens accessible to guests, and only coffee is available with their very simple breakfast, no tea. However, just down the street their are various places where you can have an exciting and inexpensive breakfast. Location, location, location that's the strong point of this hotel especially if your main purpose is shopping or to attend a conference at the Convention Center.

Area recommendations

Flagler Street and Dolphin Mall for shopping and the Brickell area for night clubs and restaurants. Miami Beach, Ocean Drive area, is a must, both day and late night, you can have an inexpensive meal and a variety of drinks there. The sightseeing and freedom of movement in this area is just wonderful

“Disgusting”

The hotel description of itself would lead one to believe it is a luxury hotel but it isn't. The room decor is dated. The owner needs to do some serious renovations. There were holes in the walls, not oulet covers, the shower did not work and front desk staff stated no other rooms. The staff made no effort to refund all or part of my money. If you have a choice to stay somewhere else, DO SO. Expedia should really consider removing this hotel from its site.

“Good Value”

I almost didn't go to this place because of the reviews on-line, but the price was so much less I decided to risk it. It worked out great. The location was perfect and the room, while not fancy, was fine. If you're looking for a high-end hotel, this isn't the place, but if you're looking for a clean room and a bed to sleep in downtown without breaking your budget, this is a good place to go.
