“Not Impressed”

I reserved for an ocean view, and I did got one. While this hotel plays some tricky things: they provided an ocean view room with one bedroom and one bath room. The size of bedroom is "big" enough to fit A bed only, and the size of the bath room is half of the bedroom. They just want to squeeze as many rooms as possible to make money.

“Great stay”

My husband and I stood in Marenas Resort for two days in Miami. It was more than expected. Extremely nice staff, from the front desk to the valet parking. Upon arrival, we were upgraded to a suite which was just beautiful with a excellent view. The room was clean with a mini kitchen, a pretty nice bathroom, relaxing balcony, and comfortable bed. My only wish was that this hotel was closer to South Beach but it is good for families being that it is pretty quiet and private. When I come back to Miami I will be staying at Marenas Resort again.

Nightlife
Most nightlife in Miami beings in South Beach. Tons of bars, clubs, and restaurants. It is ideal for any traveler. However, my husband and I are big salsa dancers and couldn't find an adequate place for dancing. After much asking around we found Bongos in downtown Miami. Being from Tennessee, this club does not compare to anything we have been to, it is huge! Inside it has a mix of hip hop, reggaeton, merengue, and house music; salsa music is on the patio outside. There is a pretty cheap cover to get in on a Saturday night and is the most fun we have had in Miami. The people are beautiful and dress to impress, this place is insane from the dancers to the live timbales player and the bongos lining the bar.

“Nice place to stay”

Nice Hotel and good service. Specially on the beach. They provide umbrelas and towels. Concierge service was great. I got complimentary upgrade.

Area recommendations
Miami Juice cross the road. Food is organic and service is good.

“Best hotel in Sunny Isles”

Although the hotel is not located in Miami, its located in Sunny Isles Beach, north of Miami, we had a little pool, private beach with chairs, covers, towels and umbrella ( charged per room per night) mandatory. but is so worth it, the beach is family enviroment or for someone who looks for peace. The staff are very friendly all the time. Parking cost is not free. but the car is safe all the time. The area is quite, with supermarket, pharmacy and fast food close. I would recommend. Does not include breakfast.

Outdoors or beach
The beach is just a step down from the lobby, the hotel provide towels, chairs and umbrella. very peaceful.

“Need for improvement”

This was my second stay at the Marenas Resort. It is actually a condominium complex that includes a hotel component. For hotel guests this means you get added amenities such as kitchen, washer and dryer and expanded living areas. The room we stayed in needed some attention. The carpets and walls were rather dirty. Service also bordered on poor. My stay was for three nights and on the last night of my stay housekeeping didn't even bother to clean the room, replace the towels ect. The last time I stayed at the hotel it had a very good Italian restuarant which is no longer there. I didn't eat at the hotel restuarant but can say that it was completely empty at 7 p.m. on a Saturday night. While I would grudgingly recommend it to others I was largely disappointed on how the overall quality of the property had slipped since my last stay.

“Horrible experience”

We will never stay in this hotel again! The only thing we loved was the ocean and it has nothing to do with the hotel.

“Great Hotel”

The hotel was very clean, the staff was friendly. The beach was very nice and not overcrowded. The hotel is in a convenient location - a short drive from south beach, bal harbour, and fort lauderdale. Keep in mind - that there is a $25 daily charge for valet service. There is no street parking.

“Beautiful Hotel”

The hotel was beautiful. The accomadations are great. The rooms are super clean. The restaurant service is under staffed and slow. Our food was great though. The parking charges are expensive.

“Great location”

The hotel is lovely as is the beach. Beautiful pools and beach. Water color is amazing! The rooms are fantastic. Everyone at the hotel was nice and friendly and made us feel like rich people when we stayed there.

“Luxurious Stay - Hidden fees”

Loved the hotel, didn't like the hidden fees we found out about at Check-In. Paid a pretty penny for one night, only to be charged other fees on top of that.
