“Friendly staff”
Staff is very friendly. Room was pretty clean, nice surprise but the top sheet was stained even though I knew it was clean (smelled it). Couldn't check in before 3:00 in the afternoon, not very convenient. They should change the windows giving on the 95 bridge as it can be noisy. Cleaners forgot to stop the alarm, was awaken at 6:00 when not requested and could not stop it. Worst mojito ever at the bar, ice and lemon only. Worst part 29$ a night for the car parking and no space in the street.
“Looking forward to another visit”
Was not 100% satisfied. However, called my concerns to the hotel manager and my feedback was handled very professionally.
“Good for cruise stay”
It's not so convenient if you want to go out without car or taxi. Not walkable to anywhere. but if u just need a night to stay then go to the cruise, it's perfect.
“Couldn't have asked for a better stay!”
Stayed in this hotel as a 'stay-cay' when a friend came into town and I wanted to be closer to downtown Miami since that's where I was mostly going out to(I live in Ft. Lauderdale and didn't wanna have to drive back and forth) . Hotel was very modern looking, which I always look for, staff was friendly, check in/out was a breeze. Room was nice, although the term "city-view" is kind of a misnomer as we were looking at trees. I didn't mind the view but I think the term they use is misleading. The location was not too far from downtown, 5-7 minute drive tops, which was nice, located right at the beginning of Rickenbacker. Art work decorating all the walls, which was lovely. I used other reviewers' advice to FIND STREET PARKING rather than pay the daily parking rate at the hotel. Sometimes this meant parking in front of people's houses in the surrounding neighborhood, and sometimes a walk, but the area is very safe and well lit, so these two gals had noooo problems. The houses are a gem to look at too, my friend and I loved driving through the neighborhood to get to where we were going. As I told my friend, I'll definitely be back! It was very reasonably priced and worth it.
“Hotel is very far away from shopping and restuarant”
The hotel is very nice and staff are helpful but it is very far away from shopping. The walk from the hotel was about 20 minutes to the monorail. Book a room with two beds and was told there was no room left with 2 beds so I was offered a room with one king bed and a roller bed. Not impress after a long flight. Don't understand the booking was made 4 months ahead and this request could not be achieve.
“Nice hotel”
It is a nice and well located hotel very quite
“Dissappointed”
Parking charge of $30, poor pool maintenance.
“GREAT GREAT GREAT!!! A++”
I WAS VERY PLEASED. YOU ALL HAVE TO SEE FOR YOURSELF...
“very good hotel”
We only stayed the one night before heading off on a cruise from miami but found the staff to be incredibly helpful and nice, joking around with our friends and making sure we were taken care of. After an initial mix up with rooms we were given bar vouchers to compensate and spent a great evening out on the pool sipping cocktails. Room was very comfortable, definatly mroe of a family friendly hotel thats away from the Miami party scene.
“Ok If you have money to blow and a rental car!”
The hotel was nice, most people friendly and staff did their jobs. Rooms where updated but the location is for familys mostly unless you do not like being close to busy downtown or south beach. But for only $8 bus ride is $2 between two buses and a ride on the free metro we enjoyed ourselves! Nice hotel would comeback with younger kids if i go for sightseeing! Hotel food bite expensive and NOTHING!! is walking distance! but for the money it is safe and Quiet! Thanks Hotel Urbano!
