“St Michel needs a little work”
The hotel St Michel really was very charming in an old World European way which brought back great childhood memories, but the rooms themselves need some upgrading and repair including walls that were paper thin. Great location and friendly service.
“Lovely hotel in Coral Gables”
This is a very quaint hotel that has a fantastic location. I love that the windows open for fresh air and the hotel staff was incredibly accomodating. Felt more like a bed and breakfast than an impersonal hotel. Lots of personal touches.

CHARMING OLD BOUTIQUE HOTEL OFF MIRACLE MILE IN THE GABLES, COMPLETE WITH AN OLD-TIME ELEVATOR THAT REQUIRES A HUMAN OPERATOR! COMFY (BUT S-M-A-L-L) ROOMS, PARKING FOR A FEE ACROSS THE STREET IN A SECURE LOT. A PLEASANT CHANGE FROM THE USUAL CHAIN HOTEL.

Great location and ambience. The hotel is in the heart of Coral Gables, within walking distance to Miracle Mile, great restaurants and galleries. I loved the manually-operated elevator and the antique decoration. I would suggest upgrading of the flooring as well as the bathtub faucets. In addition, a small table with 2 chairs would be more convenient than the armchair in the room, since breakfast is in room served. The amount of food is a little skimpy. Oherwise, it was a great, yet short stay.
“Quaint small and immaculate hotel - european feel”
The hotel was very quaint. I only missed having a coffee maker in the room. But they gave me coffee downstairs when I asked for it and were so nice and friendly. I reallly felt like I was in Europe

In the heart of the Miracle Mile district of Coral Gables. Walking distance to everything. Staff got to know us personally and took immediate care of our every request as well as asking if there were other things we needed. There was someone at the desk at all times and they were there for our service. Never had better service.

If you are looking for convenience of hotel location this is the place. Otherwise keep looking. Looks much better at the website. Not impressed. A place just to sleep.
“Fun experience, but wouldn't want to stay for more than one night”
Overall a very nice hotel. Clean, comfortable, and unique. It was a fun experience for the one night we were in Miami, but since the rooms are pretty small I would not want to stay for much longer.
