Hotel Shelley offers nonsmoking 49 guestrooms on three floors with no elevators. Décor is simple and includes white bedding, pillows, and curtains, as well as natural wood finish on furnishings. Bedding includes Masioni Italian 300-thread-count linens and duvets. All rooms include marble-clad bathrooms with pedestal sinks and showers (no bathtubs).
Rooms also include cable TV with premium channels and CD players, as well as minibar/refrigerators.

“location, location, location (and free drinks!)”
Only stayed one night at the Shelley. For what we paid for the room, we were pleasantly surprised. The location can't be beaten (unless you want to pay Ocean Drive prices). Only a couple of minutes walk from the beach and Ocean Drive nightlife (Mangos is a must). Comfortable beds. Clean rooms. Free spirits during happy hour. Only downside was the noise. It sounded like some of the guests were having a party in their room which went on all night. If you can make do with little sleep, I would recommend the Shelley.

GOOD-Staff were nice/friendly, lobby was lively/loud and highly sociable especially during happy hr, location PERFECT! BAD-1.We had 'plumbing issue' in our bathroom during which human waste ended up all over the bathroom floor. 2.The room keycards were a joke! They hardly ever worked we had to get them reset practically every time we used them 3. Hidden 'tax' charges 5-15 dollars PER NIGHT charged at the end! All in all not great, not too bad...
