Upon check-in the unit did not have clean linens. The room was not vacuumed and had red stains all over the rugs. There were ants all over the place in the unit. The air conditioner sounded like a truck engine was running in the room. There was hair all over the bathroom. The cleaning staff was very rude, we had a late checkout and they kept knocking on the door asking if we were leaving. While waiting for shuttle one of the beer kegs or wine kegs exploded and made a huge explosion like bang. There was only a Jersey Mike's and Panda express near by for food. The pool was nice but no towels for a few hours. The shuttle driver was the only nice part of our stay, he was very polite and professional.

The shuttle runs from 6AM - 11PM. We found this out after booking…. We were able to get a taxi from MIA to the property as our plane arrived after 11PM. A nice property! Very busy with people taking cruises.

The breakfast was not great but honestly that is the only negative thing about this hotel. It wasnt horrible but just not the greatest. So many more possitive things to list about this hotel; Beautiful lagoon nearby, peaceful and convenient location. Nice pool beside the lagoon. Everything is very clean and fresh. A lot of nearby places to visit. You can see the airport from the hotel. They have shuttles to the the hotel which we definitely took advantage of. The staff are all amazing! So cheerful, friendly and helpful. I especially had multiple positive encounters with one of the front desk staff named Shaneese and she was absolutely wonderful!

We stayed here back in 2018 and chose this property again because of the "suite" option. We had 2 bedrooms with a common living area which included a small kitchen. Several of the outlets in our suite did not work. When I went to use the hairdryer in the bathroom of the master bedroom, it only had one prong to put in the outlet, as the other was pushed in. When I took the hairdryer to the front desk, the staff member looked for another one for me and said they did not have one and that housekeeping would have to bring me one in the morning (which they never did). We were OK because we had the second bathroom; however, if we did not, my daughter would have had to go to bed with a wet head. Overall, we would choose to stay there again if cruising out of the Miami port.

Would recommend and we will certainly be returning , quiet and handy for nice Italian restaurant 3 min walk , supermarket 6 min walk. Free shuttle from airport , 10 min wait . Shuttle to cruise port $15 per person

This hotel was far nicer than the other hotels we stayed at pre-cruising. This was a post cruise add-on after flight cancellation. The hotel was beautiful it was clean. It’s very nice to have separate rooms for kids to go to bed at parents to stay awake. it was great having a kitchenette. The only complaint I have about the entire hotel stay was we had requested a wake up call that we did not ever receive so thank goodness the phones were working and got us up on time for our third attempt at flying home.

We received the wrong information about when our port shuttle would be getting us when we checked in. We don’t know this at the time, obviously. The morning of our cruise we were called 30 minutes before we were to get the shuttle to be told they were there and would wait. We threw everything together and were downstairs 7 minutes later only to be told that the shuttle left without us and that we could wait an hour or that we could call a taxi. Omar proceeded to tell us that “I didn’t make the error so I’m not fixing anything”. I’m a Hilton Honors member and have been for years and I’ve never had this experience. So disappointed.

Pickup at airport took long. Hotel was called several times before they answered to let them know the shuttle pickup station. Expedia and hotel didn't link that the reservation was prepaid. They charged me twice for the room which was returned but hasn't posted in my account. Great way to start a vacation!

We were there overnight to board cruise the next day and found out that our cruise departure was delayed. The hotel was able to hold our luggage and gave us a later check out, and our daughters were able to swim and enjoy the pool while we waited to board our cruise ship.

This is our 2nd time staying here before leaving for a cruise. This hotel works great for our family of four. We get a 2 bedroom suite with 2 bathrooms a king and 2 queens it’s a great way to start our vacation. The only thing to be careful if you use the free airport pickup be careful to take the correct shuttle we.counted 6 different vans that all had Hilton blue lagoon on them all going to different places be sure to ask if it’s going to Homewood suites blue lagoon airport. The complimentary breakfast is very good.
