“good hotel”
This was my first visit to Miami and i researched what I could and booked this hotel on its rating. The hotel had a wow factor which was great. Somehow we got a room with disabled facilities, which may be in all rooms, I didne check and as we were there only 2 nights we didnet say anything. But it did cause problems with the shower and bath as it had a seat which got in the way. Hotel food was expensive and just average. Our biggest upset was that there was no bar or restaurant nearby other that the hotel, or other hotels. We had to walk a long way to get a change of eating venue, otherwise grweat hotel
“A beautiful spot to relax away from the party scene”
This hotel has a lot of positives - beautiful and artistic lobby, excellent service, clean and spacious rooms, several heated pools/lots of lounge chairs and sun beds, direct ocean/boardwalk access, and amazing food. The negatives were pretty minimal... it was a $10 cab ride to the Lincoln Mall shops and restaurants and the party scene of Ocean Drive, but to a New Yorker like me, that's not a big deal. The pool decks got the best sun in the mornings, and were mostly shaded in the afternoons which is pretty typical of east coast beaches. There are only 2 restaurants, a Starbucks, and a lobby bar on site here, but the food at both the restaurants was very good. While the beach-side cabana grill was delicious, it was pretty overpriced for what it was. On the other hand, the romantic 1500 degrees restaurant inside was absurdly good, rivaling any gourmet NYC restaurant and totally worth every penny. This hotel is ideal for people who want to be right on the beach in a polished, upscale environment, but who are happy leave the party scene on Ocean Drive at the end of the night.
“Amazing dinners”
My husband and I had a great time at Eden Roc over Thanksgiving weekend. The food was amazing at 1500 Degrees and we felt spoiled basking in the sun with the beach and boardwalk right outside the hotel. My only complaints were the little dog constantly barking in the room next door and that charge for lounge chairs on the beach which I feel should be included in the hotel amenities. Otherwise, the stay was very relaxing and I would recommend Eden Roc to friends (or review readers).
“Good place”
little bit far from down town, but really close to Miami beach. Condition and maintenance of Eden Roc was very good. I was totally satisfied.
“Wanna go back next time.”
Great!!!
“Great place to relax”
Great location, clean rooms, nice decor but rooms could use some repairs ie paint, repair water damaged walls, mold in shower)
“Restaurant terrible overpriced food with disinterested wait staff”
- Ants in room - Restaurant overpriced with poorly informed, disinterested wait staff - Spa overpriced
“Luxurious”
We never wanted to leave Eden Roc! Service was amazing...friendly, helpful, and courteous. The rainfall shower and jetted tub were AMAZING and were my favorite aspect of the room. Decor was clean, simple, modern, and comfortable. Loved the bed and lounge chairs. We got a balcony room with an ocean view which I highly recommend. Food and drinks were pricey, but so is all of Miami. If you're going here on a budget make sure it's a big one. I expected high prices but $38 for two pina coladas still shocked me. Gratuity is always included everywhere in Miami, even at the hotel when renting an umbrella or chair. The only thing that disappointed me about Eden Roc was it's beach. We went to two other beaches, both public, and they were even cleaner than the hotel's. Straws, cigarette butts, and bottle caps were everywhere. Big let down since one of the reasons I booked here was to be on the beach. The fact that you had to pay for internet service was also ridiculous but a lot of hotels seemed to charge for this.
“Excellent service”
Nice and good price
“Amazing Hotel”
We booked this hotel after reading many reviews from hotels in the Miami Beach area. We are frequent travelers and stay in many hotels and this is by far the BEST experience in a hotel we have ever had. From the front desk to the bartenders and waitresses, this hotel has the most amazing service. Everyone is very friendly and goes out of their way for you to have a great experience. The rooms were beautiful and the bathroom was enormous and had amazing details. I would never stay anywhere else after staying here.
