“Good location in Downtown Miami”

The hotel was fairly close to Bayside and downtown Miami. Hotel staff was very courteous and friendly. The only gripe I have is that the food at the restaurant was nothing to write home about. We could hardly find anything good to eat. I guess you have to find another place to dine and just sleep at the hotel.

The frontdesk representative are nice. The hotel lobby is comfortable. It is great to have free coffee during the morning!

“Very Friendly”

Very friendly staff and everything was as promised/advertised. Quite a busy hotel but that did not effect service. Excellent location for travel in the downtown area. Easy access to the Metromover, Metrorail system.

Getting around

If you'd like to see more than just the beach and the clubs then rent a car. Most of the sights (aquarium, zoo, etc) are not nearby and are not easy to get to. The metromover/metrorail system are great for moving around downtown and the core of Miami, however.

What to pack

Very hot and humid so pack a hand held fan. It rains a little bit (atleast) quite often so a small umbrella is not a bad idea (which is good for the sun too).

Shopping

Dolphin Mall is the outlet mall and has lots of shops. It is a bit far but not too hard to get to.

Family-friendly activities

Jungle Island is fun for all ages. Monkey Jungle is interesting however, it's difficult to get to and more expensive than it should be.

“Great Value in Updated Courtyard”

The updates in this hotel are great- the Bistro is convenient and offers nice choices for lunch and breakfast. (did not do dinner) . The staff was great. I rented a conference room which was comfortable and very up to date with computer connections, elec. conduits, etc. Free Internet is always a plus! Rooms are nice and roomy. And the value cannot be beat--

“miami courtyard”

The hotel shows that it was once a Motel at one time. There is rusting on the ceiling, bathroom and corners of doors. The door leading to the balcony had no lock; there was a makeshift bar that was used to keep the door from opening. The air conditioner was so loud we were unable to sleep the whole night. I would not stay at this hotel ever again.
