“okay for the night”
was there for one night before going cruise. Staff was nice. Nice location. Beds were iffy. Room was clean. For the price it worked.
“You pay what you get....”
Hotel is old I should have renovation asap. Staff are their to help you. Location of the Hotel is priceless. Would not go with my wife for sure.
“Half a star”
No that great of a hotel.
“Needs updating”
The hotel has a great location, across the street from Bayside Marketplace where there is shopping, restaurants, bars, live music, tours, etc... The hotel is old with run down rooms, they don't have hand towels, only bath towels and wash cloths. The beds were soft and uncomfortable and the blankets were old and rough feeling. I would not stay at this hotel again.
“UHHH Really.”
Place is old and has never been updated in who knows how long. Staff doesn't smile or the just give one word answers. Only one of the elevaters was working for our entire stay. Dirt and dust everywhere. What are the perks you ask...affordable and convenient to the cruise Port and Bayside market.
“Cruisers”
This hotel has a perfect location, right across the street from bayside market place. Friendly staff and very helpful in getting cabs and telling you were to go for fun. Great for younger couples , but not for people use to staying at premium places. when we opened the door to our room we were shocked. Torn curtains, old scratched up furniture, super hard mattress and thin blankets, bathroom had a torn shower liner and one bar of soap. The room had a small table with two fabric covered chairs that were so stained we were afraid to sit in them. Also had a very small old tv.
“Not Impressed”
I thought the location of this hotel great, I know the price we paid was cheap but I have stayed at other Hotels for the same price and they were not luxury by any means but very clean. This Hotel has so much potential but I cringed at the pillows that were stained and the linen was very old, I insisted to my husband to use the bath towels on our pillows they were so gross. Also the top of the TV cabinet was full of dust and debris from the ceiling.
“Okay hotel”
okay hotel.....................only good thing about this place is the availability of food joints near by.
“Location was great! Hotel not so great...”
Overall where the hotel is located is absolutely great. You're right across from Bay Side where this so many outlets where you can shop, get great food, and just relax. Where my room located I had an awesome view of the water and the bridge when it was lit up at night. But my room was not that great. Soon as you got off the elevator and reached the floor I was greeted with an unpleasant smell. The beds in the room were not comfortable. Very firm and almost could feel the springs in the bed. My room was a two queens and one of the beds had a huge dent in the middle of it like someone broke the bed. The beds were also very low to ground. Like as if you were sleeping on the floor. The sheets look barely clean. The tv in my room only had maybe 4 working chanels. One chanel that did work had no sound for what ever reason. The amenties in the room where not update. So if you're expecting the flat screen tv, lavished room, and at least a microwave in the room, and a ice machine somewhere in the hotel; don't expect that hear. The only great thing I loved about the room was how big the room was and the great view from the window, and it was very peaceful and quiet there. So I was able to sleep with a little interuption from housekeeping. I wouldn't recommend this hotel due to it's lack, and maybe a few things they should upgrade (like the furniture in the room at least). But if you're only concerned with location then this would be a good hote just for that.
“Great location....but dirty rooms”
Really liked the location of this hotel as its near the bayside shops and bus....but room was kinda gross. Specifically the sheets and bed. Was super cold in room but was scared to put the sheets near my face. full of cigarette holes and stains. and mattress was due for an upgrade 5 years ago. BUUUUUUT was a good location to bayside and hotel front desk was helpful and informative.
