The smell of cleaning materials was pretty annoying, the rooms facilities are old, my fridge is watering all the time, limited towels, also tooth brush and everything in the room will be charge at the end

Great location..close to beach..retail..drug store..restaurants.. bars etc.. If you want to sleep late make sure to get room not close to the pool area

I HIGHLY recommend not staying at this hotel. Rating this a 4 star hotel is a joke. I know it’s a bargain for the area but I’ve stayed at highway motels in the middle of no where that were better. For starters, the staff are not welcoming. They do their jobs, but barley smile and talk (don’t even say hello as you walk by). The room itself was extremely old and frankly dirty. The lamps were rusted, lamp covers curtains and linens stained. The beach towels and bath towels were dirty more than half the time. We didn’t even get wash cloths, just 3 towels for a 4 person occupied room. Our room didn’t have an iron or hair dryer-we did receive it once we asked. We had our room cleaned and it was barley brushed over. We didn’t even get new towels. There’s no way to mark on the door do not disturb, so expect someone coming into your room. There’s bugs that look like roaches everywhere. We killed at least 5 in our 4 day stay. The room is muggy and smells of mold. The AC works well. The Wi-Fi in the room is very spotty, but works well in the lobby. The pool is not what it looks like in photos. There’s four lounge chairs in the middle of a restaurant by a pool that barley fits 4 people. It’s very awkward to use while people are eating around you at a sit down restaurant. The only positives are the area. It is very close to everything on south beach. There’s an amazing poke place next door and other dining options.

The staff was excellent. We arrived well before check in, but they allowed us to drop our luggage and gave us beach towels. Room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The pool area was small but charming. We love South Beach and can't wait to come back!

I got charge an extra fee per night I stay. The hotel conditions were terrible. I could not sleep well because I could here the neighbors yell all night fighting. It was not a pleasent time.

Our stay was less than exceptional at the Clinton Hotel, and while I understand that some of this was out of control (weather, flooding), the hotel was subpar for what was paid to stay there as well as the pictures displayed on the website prior to booking. It was like staying in a third world country. The hotel charged my credit card for things that were supposedly taken from our hotel minibar, however we in fact did not use any of these items.

Review from two 24 year olds during spring break This hotel was AMAZING, staff was so nice and young, location was absolutely perfect ( 5 minute walk to the beach and collins AVE, right in the middle of nightlife and super safe). I was very scared because of the reviews I read about dirty rooms and honestly it could not be further from the truth. The only downside is that the walls are super thin so you can hear people walking in the hallway but other than that it really is not nearly as bad as people made it out to be. If you want a nice spot in Miami beach I would definitely stay here!

There’s cost for everything from water to coffee nothing is complementary. We were in room 222 where the drapes did not fully cover the window causing a bright light to shine while night long in the room. Lastly the rooms are bare bone there isn’t even a chair in the room, however front desk will provide if you request.

The common areas of the property are older. The rooms are remodeled, but not well constructed. Our shower door didn’t close, there were significant dings in the walls and trim, rooms are small, windows are single paws and not insulated.

To start off the hotel looks NOTHING like the photos. We got there after dark and there were no lights. I honestly thought it was empty. All of the hotel staff is extremely rude and if you ask for more toilet paper or towels they will roll their eyes at you. Our room smelled like cigarettes and felt moist the whole time. There is also music blasting all morning. Wouldn’t recommend this hotel on my worst enemy.

Get what you pay for - the beds were super soft and lumpy, no suggestions for parking, tv was broken, no washcloths in room and the hot water faucet in the sink had no water. The “pool” (think Walmart kid pool) area was closed and there was no place else that you could sit outside. Walls paper thin. Make sure you use your inside locks as a maintenance person tried to open our door.

READ BEFORE BOOKING - SAFETY CONCERNS. The management has been contacted and is appropriately resolving the issue, but I wanted to share our experience. First of all, the sheets had stains all over, the bedding was moist from mildew, and the room smelled so strongly of mildew/mold that it was unbearable. On top of all of that, we were woken up at midnight to a "staff" member pounding on our door for over 10 minutes, supposedly to bring us towels that we never requested? The room was shaking from how hard they were hitting the door, which was terrifying. Of course we didn't open the door and instead tried calling the front desk to confirm (as this is obviously quite strange and it was late at night). The phone in the room doesn't work which is a major SAFETY issue. Couldn't even call 911 from the room. Used my out-of-country cell phone to call the front desk again for 15 minutes with no answer. The police ended up having to get involved with this safety issue and thankfully there were no bad outcomes. Only positive of this hotel is that it is a few minute walk to the beach, but there are plenty of other options nearby. I never write poor reviews and I appreciate management's response, but I could never recommend this property.

Staff was very rude when we asked questions, as if we didn’t belong there or something. Also be advised that you can not eat or drink anything by the hotel pool because it is attached to a restaurant next to the hotel. You must order from that restaurant to enjoy your food by your pool.

My stay at the Clinton Hotel South Beach was not my best hotel experience. Upon arrival the customer service was great very welcoming and pleasant.However I was absolutely disappointed that the hotel /room in the pictures looked different from in person. The room didn't have any towels are wash clothes the day we arrived.The sink water kept getting backed up. We had to wait about 10/15 minutes before water went down which took time out of our morning plans. I was charged a resort fee which it wasn't a resort feel to it. The pool was super small in person compared to pictures.There was a point during my stay I couldn't get into my room the key was not working. I had to go down to front desk to have them reactive my key. It wasn't the worst experience but it wasn't a good experience.
