“Resort fee 15,00 to pay extra to the hotel!”

The hotel ask 15 dollar per nght resort fee. The room stinks and dark, you cannot open the window

“Many better choices”

Booked online. They must have hired a very good photographer. The place is tired and dark. I was "upgraded" to a suite. It was directly above the lobby where a DJ played loud music that rattled the floor in my room. This "suite" did not include a dresser or shelves for my clothes. The closest coffee was found at a Starbucks 6 blocks away. Room service was contracted by a 3rd party and was delivered to my room on styrofoam containers. Thankfully, South Beach provides so many interesting attractions that we spent little time at the hotel. Finally, when I attempted to order a glass of wine from the bar I learned that they have 2 selections: red and white. Priceless!

“I loved the chesterfield great location wish it had a pool”

The chesterfield was a great hotel in terms of appearance and quality of the rooms i loved the atmosphere really clean and upbeat environment i wish the hotel had a pool other than that I think its worth every penny

“Chesterfield Visit”

The location is great and the hotel is cool, but the rooms are small and the bathrooms are even smaller. Food is good and cost is reasonable for Miami, but the kitchen closes at 8:30pm. The hotel is good for a short stay (a day or two).

“Desaster”

My friend arrived early and were greeted by Francesca the receptionist in such mean way and it set the tone for the rest of the experience. We asked for 2 beds and get to our room to find out there's only one bed. I asked to speak to the manager miguel who was very incompetent as a manager since he didn't know how to make a customer feel better. I was very nice about it but his favorite answer was "NO we CANT". Not the ideal answer for a hotel manager. He then asked that we'd pay more if we wanted 2 beds which meant that in reality they DID have rooms with 2 beds. THey just didn't want to accomodate that's all!. O and if you plan to sleep in in the morning, don't count on it!t he housekeepers would yell in front of your window at 8 am. We were woken up every morning by them.! Very rude. We adressed it but they continued to be loud and disrespectfu. Nobody cared. The waiter took my plate before I even finished my meal! And when I told her I wasn't done, she gave me a dirty look and took off. No apology at all! The bellman Jose and a desk clerk tavaris were the only pleasant persons there. I wil never stay there again!

“Contemporary style in Miami's Art Deco district”

“Good Party Hotel”

Overall, the Chesterfield was a good Hotel. The Shuttle Service, Complimentary Happy Hour, and Lobby/Lounge environment were great. The rooms has a Nice decor, however the shower is connected to the restroom (without any type of leveling or divider, so when using the shower, it floods the entire restroom. Good place to stay if you like loud music and cool people to mingle with. Would not recommend for families.

Area recommendations

South Beach is a great place to stay between Collins 5th-17th street if you want to be in the heard of the action.

“Choose another hotel to stay.”

Not a hotel I would reccomend to anyone with children or interested in a quiet clean place to stay. Expensive with hidden charges and no extras offered.
