The Internet is very slow when it works. Most of the time when you try to use it, it does not work and the staff was not helpful at all. The property is very old.

La verdad que en recepción no tienen delicadeza con el huésped. Llegar luego de un vuelo de 14 horas y solo explicar tu situación, para que la persona de recepción solo te repita mil veces lo que no puede ser. A veces vale más el escuchar al huésped aunque no halla solución que hablar sobre lo que quiere decirte el huésped.

Hotel in deplorable conditions, has not had maintenance in quite a while, it looks old and uncared for. Noise comes through the windows as if you had them opened, couldn’t get a good nights rest. Bathroom fixtures did not work properly and sink had a leak. Laminate floor had strips missing and broken. No heating, and had trouble getting a blanket from reception. Kitchen sink fixtures did not work properly, coffee pot was still dirty from prior guest. Sofa dirty and needs re stuffing. Garbage underneath the bed. Door did not seal properly and air would seep through. Some Electrical switches did not work and should be updated, air conditioning outlet was burned out so this appliance was disconnected. Elevator in scary conditions, noisy, jumpy, doors would close in on you before you got in or out. Personnel very serviceable and thoughtful. It’s a shame because this hotel is very well located. Sorry but can’t recommend this property at all.

I didnt like anything about the property. Extremely old and out dated. All furniture was worn out. Elevator was very scary, took time to settle down, felt as if it was gonna drop. Advertise queen size beds, certainly were nothing more than matrimonial. Expedias photos of the hotwl were from 30 years ago. Ask receptionist where the rooms were jn the photo that i confirmed. Said she was sorry they were not available, said they were there but not useable. Booked a 2 night stay left after the first night. Complete.deceptive listing. DO NOT USE THIS HOTEL.

The building is right above a Mexican restaurant that has live music …. We were on the 2nd floor , and it was terrible , if you are a party goer I guess it shouldn’t be a problem, location is great

You can’t beat the location, minutes away from Reforma and the Angel of Independence, lovely neighborhood conveniently located very near public transportation. However there is only one elevator in service that is used by both guest and service staff, the couch had several rips that exposed the fibers underneath. Service staff and front desk are superior extremely efficient and courteous

The room/hotel was old and dirty. Not at all what the pictures showed on the site. I was very disappointed! We had to move out the same night. Although Ana at the front desk was exceptionally accommodating and nice!

Great location, really close to the Angel of la Independencia and several other attractions. The area is full of cafes and restaurants, so several options exist. The room had a nice view. However, it was not very clean, and the water quality wasn't the best. I had a lot of issues with the internet as it was pretty slow, which was a shame, given that I needed to do some remote work.

I couldn't have gotten a better view! I was given the corner room on the 11th floor, overlooking the Angel de la Independencia. I could see it from my bed! The staff were all wonderful, even getting me an extra blanket because I had just landed and was not used to the capital's cold temperature. They were also kind enough to let me store my luggage after checkout so I could run my errands before flying back. Unfortunately, was disappointed by the smell of the entire building and my room... and how dated everything was. The room did not quite match the pictures, especially the bathroom, which featured a bathtub that wasn't there. I was only staying one night, so I didn't really mind, and it was perfectly located to run my Consulate errands the next day. Breakfast was included and served downstairs at the Mexican restaurant below, which is very convenient but was not very enjoyable.

I recently had the opportunity to stay at this hotel, and unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired. The photos I saw online didn't match the reality at all. The hotel looked old and outdated, which was a major disappointment. However, there were two positive aspects I can mention. The breakfast at the restaurant El Mexicano was good and offered a wide variety of options. I also have to highlight the hotel's location, which turned out to be convenient for accessing the main attractions in the city.

El hotel es mucho mas viejo de lo que se ve en las fotos, en la alcantarilla del baño nos salio un chupil y el elevador se siente inseguro por los movimientos y sonidos que hace de tan viejo. El trato del personal fue increíble pero las instalaciones no son para nada lo que se ve en las fotos.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean. It is a 2 min walk from the Angel de la Independencia and there is food all around. The only thing is the pictures on the website don’t really match the hotel. Overall though I would go back. It’s near everything and so much to do and sightsee.
