“Nov 5 11 stay”
Good location for walking to historical sites. Not very many English speaking that work at the hotel. They only supplied complementary coffee for one day and you have to purchase bottled water.
“Good choice for downtown Mexico City”
Good hotel, in downtown area with good restaurants and small but clean spa.
“Great hotel; great food”
The hotel was great, and the people were outstanding going above and beyond to accomodate our needs. The buffet and restaurants were great as well.
“Good Hotel”
Some services should be included and not charged, such as breakfast, internet, sauna.
“Overcharge for everything - hotel motto”
Even in the lobby there is no free wifi. The trips you buy at the hotel are more expensive than if purchased at Hilton. Rooms are old - TV's are antique. Staff does not really help. I felt they want to overcharge all the time for everything, not to serve you.
“Great hotel but bad AC”
This is a truly beautiful hotel with a splendid staff. The rooms are nice, the mattresses are wonderful! The only problem is that the AC doesn't really get cold enough. We've stayed here 2 times and have had the identical problem in two different rooms on two different floors and both times we set the thermostat to 16 Even tho we didn't want it that low) and waited for it to cool off but it never got below 23 in either room. Since they give you heavy comforters, this is quite a problem. The first time we stayed there we thought the thermostat was broken or something but unfortunately, it seems that the whole AC system is sluggish.
“Very satisfied”
The Melia exceeded my expectations in every respect. Lobby, room, restaurant were all excellent. Staff and service likewise. If/when I return to Mexico City I will definitely rebook.
“Two thumbs up”
I had a great time, the hotel is a good one, walking distance to the center, the staff is very friendly and helpful, very clean, I will go back

“Check out the spa, and really good room service too”
They have a great gym, pool, steam/sauna and massage. It's definitely worth taking a look on the 9th floor. Also room service is excellent and great value.
