“Great location, Good hotel”
Right in the middle of zona rosa and near to Insurgentes Metro Station. Lots of harmless gay people and many policeman so its safe to walk around. The hotel has a lot of story hanging on the walls and its worth it to take 5 minutes to learn about the people who have stayed at the place.
“Great Location in a safe and hip neighborhood.”
Staff was very nice. The Hotel is a bit older but I was very happy with the hotel. We walked to bars and great restaurants and to El Angel monument from the hotel. I would recommend this hotel to everyone .
“Charming and Convenient”
This is a pleasant, well-run hotel smack in the centre of Zona Rosa. The positives included a very nice atmosphere, attentive staff, excellent little restaurant. The improvement opportunities were a few, but they didn't spoil it for me. For example, check your windows. Mine was facing some roofs, and I didn't realize till the second day that my windows weren't locked. With the crime level in Mexico city, this is concerning. The room was charming, but a little aging. I loved it, anyway. Zona Rosa is an extremely safe area, where I hit many bars and did some nice shopping.
“A surprising hidden gem”
I was in Mexico City for 2 nights for a trade show, and while others picked the familiar 4-star hotels like St. Regis, Sheraton at rates comparable to any U.S. metropolitan rates, I picked this historical mansion hotel in the Zona Rosa neighborhood. What a pleasant surprise. The historical hotel is recently innovated. Everything was up to 4-star standard, yet at a surprising local rate. It is in the midst of it all. Night markets, night life, restaurants, downtown. The room was clean, bed so comfortable, and stitched pillows. The bathroom was marble tile. I would have paid more to stay in a room like that. I wouldn't mind staying in the same hotel the next time I visit.
“A gem in Mexico City - updated hotel with character and excellent staff”
A wonderful hotel - not too big but all services. Rooms are modern while hotel lobby has great character. Staff was extremely helpful. Across from hotel in a great mall. Wonderful restaurants in area. I'd recommend Mexico City but for a real treat try Puebla 2 hours to the south. Wonderful people, peaceful and a beautiful city. Best food in the country.
“"Zona Rosa" best hotel”
Well, maybe the rooms and service could be found in any other good hotel, but the lobby, the patio and even the terraza (deck) are so unique, is't like going backwards in the timeline.
“Zona Rosa Hotel”
Great Hotel, Great location, Great service. The hotel room corridors have the smell of a cigar humidor. The beautiful meeting rooms are off places to the general public. Will go back to Hotel Geneve.
“Ideal Zona Rosa Location”
The Geneve is an historic, lovely hotel that has been nicely maintained. It is located in the heart of the Zona Rosa--a notably gay neighborhood--and is convenient to shopping, eating, transportation, and nightlife. The front desk staff were bilingual, which was helpful, and many of the bell staff had functional English. The bellmen took care of all of our transportation needs. The hotel has 3 restaurants on site (including a Sanborns), 24 hour room service, a business center, and spa. Weather in early October was perfect.
“I always styed in this Hotel twice a year”
everythings is excellence good and plite emplyee the best atmosphere
“Great experience, beautiful hotel, good price”
This is hotel is one of the nicest I've stayed at anywhere, not just in Mexico. The staff is helpful and friendly, my room was immaculate and the hotel itself is almost a museum with all of its artifacts, books and beautiful interior architecture. Even though it was in Zona Rosa, my room was extremely quiet with a view of the sky to watch the storms roll in every night. I could walk to almost anywhere and could take a short walk up Genova to get to the Metro to get anywhere else. Wonderful place...will stay there again next time I'm in D.F.
