“Excellent value for money”
The hotel is mid-range and to me was excellent value for money. Expedia's rates were half the price of the hotel's base room rate, so definitely the best way to book a stay with this hotel. The rooms include full cable t.v,toiletries and 2 free bottles of water - refreshed each day - which was more impressive than some more expensive hotels that I've stayed in. My room was basic, but comfortable and although there was a little bit of noise, to be expected for the amazing location. The subway is just around the corner and the hotel is only a quick 10 minute walk from Zocalo, where the Presidential Palace and main square is. Excellent location for central site seeing! Only negative was that the elevators were slow - but it was clear that repairmen are already working on an improvement to their speed.
“Good value for money”
The hotel is in a great location, close to the central historical district and with a metro station just outside. The staff were friendly, our room was clean, the food was nice and not too overpriced. There were some renovation works going on when we stayed which were a little noisy but well screened off. Our main problem was the room had no heating and the windows were single glazed and rattled in the wind. We had to ask for lots of extra blankets as the nights can be very cold in winter in Mexico City.
“Good Value”
hotel fontain is a good value, is in a good position, next to "Hidalgo" tube station, restaurant is good, the staff don't speak english but they make every afford to satisfa you, a bit cold in the room but overall next time i'll go there again.
