“Cheap and Best located”
Very useful to stay 2 or 3 days, for self-employed workers that must paid the hotel.
“Del Angel Mexico City”
This hotel does not have the best of customer service. They are good with maintaining the cleanlieness of the preperty and the rooms. Overall, I am pleased with this hotel.
“"It could be better.."”
We have been clients of this hotel for many years and have seen several managment changes. On our most recent stay, both the towels and the sheets that were supposed to be white were dark. Clorox is cheap and should be used. Before, the showers had glass walls and now there are only plastic shower curtains that are not long enough and didn't keep the water in and splashed the entire bathroom. The towels were medium size and not large enough for bathing. There was not enough hot running water and would run out mid-shower. Basic toiletries like hair conditioner, bath soap, and sufficient toilet paper were not provided. The TV functioned mostly like a radio because the the signal was so bad and needed a better antenna. The personnel were good, we didn't have problems with our belongings and the location is great. Overall, this hotel needs improvement.
“A real disappointment at any price”
It was a dump and they didn't care to make it right.
“Hotel near the US Embassy in Mexico City”
Hotel was in a very good location. Angel de Independencia was just a block away as well as US Embassy. Hotel bathroom needed some upgrade, but overall Hotel is OK for the money.
“Unbeatable Location Excellent Value.”

“great hotel at the price and location”
The last time I went to Mexico City I stayed at the hotel Del Angel and will stay there the next time as well. I like the safes in the room as well I didn't have to carry all my cash or passport with me.
“No Angels here”
The hotel is undergoing extensive renovation and there were daily construction noises, debris and dust evident. The Staff's English was very poor at best, althgouigh they did smile a lot. The room-safe was brought to the room, after I noticed at check-in there was none in place. The bedside lamps did not work and were eventually replaced after two days with woeking ones. It took four days of requests to get a remore-control for my TV set (I DO speak Spanish rather well!). I tried to get the Desk to open a separate account for miscellaneous charges, and was told it was not possible, for my account was pre-paid - this is nonsense - I have worked many Hotel Front Desks in the course of my career (Hotel & Restaurant Administration) and it is a common practice. I was not a happy camper, even though the room was well-cleaned, the bed comfortable.
“The best Time to go to Riu is the days other than hoildays! Too Crowded”
It's a nice hotel with beautiful view! best time to go is not holidays, because hotel is almost full!
“my stay in hotel fe angel”
it was ok. the only thing is that my room was way in the back and kind of hard to get to it . also the elevator was to slow . other than that I would recomend this hotel as a good bargain in mexico city specially for the area the hotel is located.
