“5 star breakfast!”
I had worked in and lived near the Zona Rosa district of Central Mexico City so felt I knew where we would be staying. The area has deteriorated somewhat over time, but still has a busy feel with shops and bars/restaurants, though perhaps could do witha face-lift. However, the hotel was a real gem. Small but perfect - we had a suite, with separate sitting room with bed/settee and second TV, with microwave and fridge! The staff were obliging and courteous and the breakfast was to die for, all you could eat, hot and cold, with a varied hot menu each day. This filled us for the best part of the day to help with the hectic sightseeing! I still feel it is well-positioned for visiting both the old historic part of the city as well as the main park and fantastic anthropoligcal museum. I would certainly stay there again without hesitation.
“Definitely Recommend It!”
Hotel was excellent. Very clean and comfortable and in a very safe area. Price is reasonable for hotel quality and Mexico prices. Only downside was I arrived at 7am and there was no room ready to sleep eventhough I had requested this! After a little pressure and sitting in the breakfast area with a cup of coffee for an hour, a room was ready for me to move to. I was not charged for this although I was willing to pay for it. With a little pressure requirements can be met.
“Zona Rosa Suites”
Reception looks a bit dodgy but rooms were fantastic value for the money. Two large beds and an extra living room. Breakfast was great too. Would definitely recommend... clean too. Only fault is that the beds were a bit hard. Perfect location for nightlife too
