We do not always stay in hotels but we had horrible experience with another housing option in town. We could not stay there for three more nights so I made quick reservation on Expedia and we went right to the hotel. It was only 10 in the morning but we had not had a lot of sleep. Checkin was not til 4. Staff was very kind and let us chill in lobby and got us room by one which was incredibly appreciative. Thanks so much.

Wonderful location. Very good value for money. Excellent, helpful and personable staff. Great bar area downstairs. Lovely rooftop open air bar. Best room (and bed) for the money I've had in years. Exceptional breakfast. Easy (free) on street parking (6pm to 10am) very near to the hotel. The LARGE room was very quiet, and the double curtains kept the room dark late into the morning. Highly Recommended.

Disappointing
Room is ancient and requires modernisation, as per rest of the hotel. Parking was 10min away and there is no temporary park on site so not easy to unload our luggage. Bar downstairs was a total disaster, loud music and poor offer. Spa in the hotel meant lots of guests around in bathrobe/swimsuit at all times….

Well located in the center of Nancy, clean room and comfortable bed... Only inconvenient because of repairs in the building and difficulty to find a parking.

They are currently building and renovating this hotel. And it’s a big renovation so be warned. Rooms tired, old, small and I didn’t have a desire to look at the state of the mattress. The public toilet was clean but stank. Luckily we didn’t breakfast there. On a positive side - good location and a delightful, helpful receptionist.

Une bonne adresse pour un séjour professionnel
Hotel très bien situé au centre ville. Très facile d'accès depuis la gare et les principaux parking publics. Très peu de traffic la nuit et un environnement calme. Les chambres sont petites mais confortables et bien équipées. Petit déjeuner simple et de bonne qualité. Personnel très agréable et efficace.

A friendly hotel close to the railway. It is presently being renovated which I think limited the breakfast area and choices but I'm sure improvements will benefit the hotel. Nice towels and shower.

Staff was great in working around a big construction project and were quite accommodating. WiFi was good too. Great location for exploring Nancy.

The room was not ready at noon (it wasn't expected to be) we left our luggage and when we came back they've already put it in our room. That was a nice gesture.

Close to everything.
The hotel is in a great location. Close to the center of town as well as the train station. Hotel is clean and the staff is friendly and helpful.

Nice small tidy hotel with short distance to the station and 10 minutes fro Stanislaw Square and the centre. Room small but functional. Main complaint was the bizarre shower in our en-suite (room 324). Whoever designed the layout should be shot. Towel rail above taps where shower should be and main holder high high on wall at the side. Therefore could not shower normally. Note to maintenance. Please put shower at head height above the taps and move the towel rail shelf to the far end of the bath. All sorted. Very helpful staff.

Nice room but old & inefficient air conditioning
The temperature in the room was very hot and stuffy. The air conditioning was not working. TheyYoung man at reception was most apologetic and managed to find us another room with a/c ... which was much appreciated however it was not very efficient and extremely noisy ... so we had to turn it off for the night. The rooms definitely need to be refurbished with modern equipment.

What I expected from a Best Western Hotel
The Hotel is exactly what would be expected of a Best Western Hotel, clean, friendly helpful staff, in a good (but not prime) location. The room was clean and quiet, these are my top two considerations when rating a hotel.

A good perch
Clean, helpful staff, nice quiet and comfortable room. Ten minutes walk to Stanislaus Square, two minutes to railway station, around 30 minutes to the must-see museum of the Ecole de Nancy.

Friendly and good location
Nice hotel right in the centre, friendly and helpful staff and clean and comfortable. We were able to park opposite the hotel in pay and display bays which, from 1600 to 1000hrs cost around 4 euros. Convenient for sightseeing and lots of restaurants nearby.

Nancy, a great city to visit
Very easy city to wLk around. Lots of high interest things near Stanislas place. The luminaries display on the buildings around Stanislas place at 11.00pm were magic.

Good location for exploring on foot.
Lucked out with this last minute booking. Very clean bathroom, nice and comfortable beds, small rooms but in the middle of town and easy to get around on foot for visiting. Nice breakfast in a warm welcoming room and we even had a parking available for us. Efficient and friendly staff.

Great location & price, clean and safe, poor WiFi
The Crystal was almost ideal for our purposes, two guys traveling together and wanting inexpensive but clean and safe lodging with two beds. Downside was, as happens so often in Europe, the WiFi was poor. The evening we arrived it seemed fine. Next morning at breakfast, and until departure an hour later, it was dead, nothing, even after they reset the router.

Good stay
The hotel is very nice. Close to the train station so for us was perfect. The lobby and halls have a sewer smell but this did not extend to our room. Our room was excellent , clean with a good bathroom. There was a kettle with coffee and tea which is great!

arrived to find no parking as no car park, suspicious people loafing about in street. Room was dark, small and univiting. On complaining we were offered a similar room which was no better. We left to find other accommodation. Should not be under the Best Western banner
