“Breakfast with a View”
A convenient hotel, wonderfully situated in Taormina. The breakfasts were excellent and the staff very helpful; especially in assisting with our airport 'check-in'. A good environment in which to relax yet, at the same time, a convenient place from which to explore the interesting town. The views from the hotel diner were great. We enjoyed a good Autumn deal which made our stay value for money. I would like to return at some other time.
“Want to stay in the middle of Taormina?”
On first entering this hotel, we were very put off by the large notice demanding "No food or drink to be brought into the hotel". It didn't set the right note for our stay. However, reception staff did all they could to welcome us and went out of their way to find a space for our car (not an easy task with only three limited hotel car spaces, on a very narrow and hassling street!). We were extremely disappointed with our tiny, gloomy room ("garden view") and the sparse and dated furnishings. There wasn't room for our two pieces of luggage and one had to go on top of the wardrobe! It is really worth going for the "sea and Etna view" rooms which are very much larger and have greater comfort generally and a good size balcony. Well worth the extra cost. The restaurant, on the sixth floor, has a brilliant view over the town and, on a clear day, of the volcano. Breakfast was fine, dinner menu ok. Easy access to all the other restaurants in this busy town. Servicing of room came at the end of the afternoon, which wasn't great. Lovely spacious lounge with views over public gardens adjoining. A good place to stay if you want easy access to central Taormina and don't have a car.
“Cant wait to return.”
Would recommend this hotel to anyone. Very oldie worldie with a great Italian feel to it, would not suit anyone who likes everything modeStaff always ready to help and Stephene on the desk was great. The view was to die for outside our balcony and the rooms cleaned and towels changed everyday. The hotel was right in the heart of everything and a beautiful park right next door. Will definetly be going back.
“Would definitely recommend to others”
Stayed at this hotel for 5 nights from Sep 28-Oct 3. Room was a reasonable size with a great view from balcony of Mount Etna. Not much choice of TV channels, only 2 English news channels rest Italian, would've been nice to have had a few more choices in the evenings. Lucky for us most days were clear and sunny so didn't stay in hotel too long. Room was cleaned daily and towels changed at least every 2 days. Breakfast was basically the same each day--rolls, croissants, crispbreads, fruit, cereal, eggs, cold meats, cheese, juice-sufficient but a bit boring after a few days, however good service (waiters provided choice of tea or coffee on arrival) and great panaromic view of Etna and surroundings made up for this. Hotel also serves evening meals although we did not dine there. However there is a reasonable priced set menu which changes daily if anyone did wish to. Everything is walking distance, about 5-10mins to main street (Corso Umberto), and there are many other streets with restaurants, bars, shops just off the hotel. Only 10-15mins walk to main bus terminal and cable car. Although hotel does not have a pool, it provides a daily bus (no charge) to a private beach with pool where you can just lounge around, swim or even have a meal. We had lunch there twice, food was really good. Hotel also helped to book a tour to Mount Etna of which there are several tours to choose from depending where and when you plan to go. These may depart from the hotel or the main bus terminal.
“Great hotel, excellent location”
You can not fault this hotel for its centre location with great views (depending on room). It has the benefit of a seperate beech with its own facilities and although you have to get a minibus to it (free 3 times a day each way) this is not a problem at all. The staff are helpful and our only critisism is that the hotel could do with some refurbishment. This is not a modern / large hotel but a small family run villa.
“Not overly impressed........”
The hotel is located in a great location and is only a short walk to the center of town. The Hotel itself is an older hotel with a friendly staff. The rooms have rock hard pillows and are in need of refurbishing. The A/C's in the rooms barely worked and in one night we lost electricity for about six hours. Driving is extremely difficult in Taromina and parking is even harder to find. Expect tp pay approximately 15 Euro's a day to overnight your car. There is no pool at the hotel, but you can arrange to use their Beach Club at no charge and they will transposrt you free of charge (about a 10 minute ride). The Beach Club is beautiful and is right on the ocean. The restaurant at the Beach Club is also very good and is resonable in price. The staff that runs the club are terrific.
“Good Choice”
Lovely hotel. The only detraction was that most of the guests were part of tour groups.
“Bella Hotel Villa Pardiso”
Would certainly recommend to family & friends
“"Can't wait to go back"”
We couldn't have asked for a better location in Taormina! We could walk the entire city and never needed car. The bus service was easy to use as was the cable car to the Taormina beaches. For tours we used SAT and for more lengthly trips we used a private car service which was just great. Our driver was John who was very well versed in the history, etc.
“Great location”
Not a friendly/helpful reception by any of the day staff with the exception of the gentleman who does the night reception. Great location and great view from Jr Suite. Watier staff were excellent and very accommodation for vegi/fish eater from the fixed half board menu.

Taormina, Italy: A balcony setting on Mount Tauro with a sweeping view of Sicilys coastline and Mount Etna gives Taormina its lasting appeal. It is Sicilys only truly international resort, much-favoured by celebrities. The old quarters steep, narrow alleys are filled with window boxes and painted pottery, and best explored on foot. Main sights are the classical remains and Renaissance palaces. The Greco-Roman theatre is still used for concerts and festivals.
