“2 excellent weeks at hotel Palladio”
We spent two weeks at hotel Palladio and had an amazing time. The hotel is idealy located in Giardini-Naxos, facing the sea and adjacent a many amenities including restaurants, bars and buses that can take you to Taormina, Catania and Catania airport. The room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was served on the rooftop terrace and included local delicacies. The hotel also served aperitif and dinner in the evening. Both service and food were excellent. All staff spoke english and was very friendly and helpful. The only two minor issues were occasional cold showers and proximity to a noisy street. I would strongly recommand staying at this hotel.
“Relaxing and comfortable place.”
The atmosphere is very relaxing. Definitely take a room with sea view - if available. Yes, there is a small gas station in front of the hotel - but the sea view completely compensates for this! Simple pleasant interior, the service is exceptional - whitest linens ever - fresh every day.White clean bathtub to soak after a long walk or hike. Breakfast is to die for (they do serve almost the same variety every day but the quality is very good - eggs, yogurts, fruits, cheese, cold cuts, freshly baked bread and delicious pastries, excellent local jams and honey - all while you are enjoying the sea view from the dining room).
“Palladio tips”
Hotel Palladio is in the better end of GNaxos right opposite the beach ( small charge paid to lido to use ) and filling station, this was not a big problem but we would have preferred a 2nd floor or above room. Dont go half board there are better cheaper places nearby, one right under our room. A much tastier meal out with wine was under 50 for 2. If you want a double bed get some rope ( from boating shop closeby) to tie the 2 singles together or you`ll be down the gap. If you rent a car and drive take a tranquilizer. Overall experience basic but pleasant. I love Italy and would go again
“Fantastic Hotel!!”
We had the most wonderful stay at Hotel Palladio. The hotel is perfectly located, right at the beach. They provided us with towels and for 5 euros we rented two lounge chairs and a umbrella for a whole day!! The hotel is also located in front of the bus stop that takes you to Taormina and Castelmola or to Catania in the opposite direction. The breakfast was plentiful with Sicilian delicacies including organic jams and teas and blood orange juice, etc. They really went the extra mile and offered happy hour snacks. We had dinner twice at the hotel, 'le cuoche' (the cooks) prepared for us tasty Sicilian dishes served in the terrace overlooking the sea, what a perfect finish to our days! But what made this place outstanding was the staff, kind and extremely pleasant, they were very helpful and took care of our delayed baggage and kept my daughter happy by allowing her to play with the 'house' kitten. They even offered an ice bag for my husband's swollen foot. We highly recommend this hotel to everyone in search of a beautiful seaside place, perfectly located for short trips or excursions, and most of all with a friendly and nice staff. Thank you for everything Hotel Palladio, we will cherish forever the wonderful memories of our stay at Giardini-Naxos!
“A great hotel with great staff”
Hotel staff were extremely friendly. Will surely return to this hotel and will definitely recommend it to anyone.
“the staff made all the difference”
Hotel Palladio is basic, but very clean. Location was fantastic, being right by the beach and by the bus stops from where the tours start. The staff were incredible. More helpful than anywhere i've stayed before, going out of their way to book excursions and helping us out. food in the hotel was great - all made from local produce. The area is quiet and a great place to base yourself but if you're looking for buzzing nightlife, this is not the place. its more about relaxation and taking it easy. The only slight criticism i have is our room was right above reception and it was incredibly loud. we'd get woken by people shouting underneath or outside our room or by the traffic in the early morning. there seemed to be no way to get around this. All in all a fantastic holiday and lovely little hotel.
“Nice hotel to stay”
The hotel is nice and clean, the staff is really friendly and willing to help. But the beach in front is rocky and it is not comfortable for small children, but anyhow you can walk 600 meters to sandy beach. The furniture in the room was really old and sometimes difficult to use but overall impression is that the hotel is charming. You feel yourself a member of big family.

Taormina, Italy: A balcony setting on Mount Tauro with a sweeping view of Sicilys coastline and Mount Etna gives Taormina its lasting appeal. It is Sicilys only truly international resort, much-favoured by celebrities. The old quarters steep, narrow alleys are filled with window boxes and painted pottery, and best explored on foot. Main sights are the classical remains and Renaissance palaces. The Greco-Roman theatre is still used for concerts and festivals.
