“Very nice!”
The Gutkowski is a wonderful little hotel in a great location on Ortygia. The staff at the hotel was great. Helpful with directions and suggestions for restaurants and how to get places in Siracusa. The hotel is small and a bit quirky, but lot's of fun and very comfortable. It's within walking distance of most everthing in Siracusa. Be sure to eat dinner at the small restaurant in the hotel. The food is great, the people friendly, and it seemed to be a real "hot" spot on Ortygia for after 10pm dining. The menu changes daily and it's full of fresh fish and vegetable. Don't miss it.
“Miss the view already!”
The service and location was absolutely fantastic - the best on my trip in Sicily. The furniture in the room and the bathroom were both quite outdated. It probably hasn't changed since the 1970s. Beyond that, the beachfront location, the breakfast, and the staff were terrific.
“Relatively good hotel”
The hotel overall is relatively good. The room and the bathroom need renovation because everything in the bathroom is quite outdated. The Tv chanels did not work, we informed reception and they said that their electrician will take a look but after 4days in our stay nothing was fixed. We pointed that out during our checkout and staff said that they were sorry, but they could not do anything about it. Although nobody remembered to tell us this during our stay. We think and other visitors we talked with agree that the hotel does not meet the standard, quality and service one gets from 4star hotels!
“Badeferien Sizilien”
Das Hotel hat seinen Zenit überschritten. Das Gebäude sowie auch das Mobiliar ist eher alt und nicht in einem besonders gutem Zustand. Die Aussicht auf das Meer ist jedoch wunderschön und entschädigt für vieles.
“Lido Méditérannée: Localisation très bonne”
Nous avions une chambre de luxe vue sur la mer avec balcon. Nous entendions les vagues donc localisation parfaite. Cependant, l'hôtel et les chambres sont très défraîchies. La douche est avec un rideau et le drain était bloqué, donc dégât d'eau dans la petite salle de bain. Le petit-déjeuner était de base mais correct. Nous n'y retournerons pas tant que l'hôtel ne sera pas rénové.
“Hotel Lido Mediterranee Taormina da rimodernare completamente”
Posizione comoda e giudizio quasi sufficiente ma Albergo completamente e assolutamente da rimodernare. L'arredamento delle camere è decisamente vecchio e fa perdere quasi completamente all'Albergo quel fascino che potrebbe avere vista la sua posizione direttamente sulla spiaggia.

buona la posizione sul mare, il servizio e l'accoglienza buona la pulizia, un pò meno gli arredi
