“Good location, decent hotel”

We stayed here for one night. The hotel was decent- clean and the staff was nice. The hotel was located right in the main street of Taormina where all the shopping and restaurants are. If we were staying more than 1 night, we probably would have chose a hotel with a pool as this one did not have one.

“Great Location & Helpful Staff”

We used this hotel on the recommendation of a friend who had stayed 12months earlier. The location could not be faulted, the room had plenty of space for our bags, and a roomy bathroom.. On two occassions we asked for an earlier breakfast time due to an early day tour we had booked, the staff did their best to have things ready for us, as this was an unusual request. The only downside was no WiFi, so we had to use an internet cafe close by. However, overall our stay was comfortable and relaxing, and if returning to Taurmina we would stay at Hotel Isabella again.

Our total experience with Expedia was excellent. They were easy to deal with, providing any or all information we asked for. We would recommend them to anyone who is travelling. Hassle free arranging making it simple & stress free.

“Great Hotel in a great location”

This hotel is right on the main walking street, it is very nice, clean & beautifully decorated. It is close to everything you would want to do in Taormina. The breakfast is outstanding, the room was large and comfortable with all of the amenities. The only draw back for me was that the desk staff was not very pleasant or very helpful, in a place like this hotel you would expect a better attitude from the staff.

“"No Internet Service"”

Great location, small Hotel on main st. Extremely noisy room if given front location on street . Not triple pained windows. Asked to be moved, rear room was much better, but small. Corner rooms are the smallest! Excellent breakfast buffet, courteous service. One big disappointment: no interent service, Few Internet cafe's one called Las Vegas, same price w/without your own computer. Lifts do not operate all the time, and no bus boys to help either. Would opt for a 4 star if possible.

“Great location, shame about the lackof ustomer service”

Front desk staff were perhaps the most ignorant I've ever come across. If they did bother to put the phone down, gave totally monosylabic answers. Never offered or added anything. Dismissive of any requests. Roof terrace would have been OK, except it was being used as a workshop. Waiter in restaurant was the redeeming feature, very helpful and friendly.Went out of his way to make us welcome. Breakfast buffet very good

“In case you rented car.”

Extremely well located (main street)but take into consideration that they do not have a place where to park your car. You have to leave the car in a public parking place and take a bus with your luggage! The hotel gives you a nice discount at the parking place! So travel light because you have to walk several blocks to the hotel!!!

“Exellent Choice”

Taormina was my final destination after 2 other previous stops in southern mainland Italy. I picked the Hotel Isabella as having visited Taormina previously, I was aware of it's central location. My choice proved to be a good one and I could not fault it in any way. As a single traveller I was given a spacious double room which has been the best I have stayed in during my many previous Italian trips. The room was overlooking the main street but I had no problem sleeping as the noise was very minimal. Breakfast was also very nice with a good selection, even scrambled eggs and bacon which made a nice change, being on the continent. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and professional and I would not hesitate to stay at this hotel again in the future.

“good location, excellent breakfast, friendly staff”

this was the 2nd hotel we stayed in in Taormina. its very central, easy to find, room was a nice size (shower space tiny as ever). even though the balcony overlooked the main street noise wasnt an issue. breakfast was excellent, very varied - good for us vegetarians! staff were helpful - we needed train info to take a trip around Etna and they helped us find this out. A nice hotel.
