“Quiet with a Beautiful view !”

While the B&B has a small entrance to find, there are many signs in Taormina that direct you to it. We walked to it from the bus terminal, about 6/10 mile. Just a few steps down to the entrance, and the Hotel Condor opens to a small lobby (especially if there are other guests checking in). The front desk staff spoke English and they were all very friendly and helpful. Our room on the 4th floor had a small balcony with a table and chairs that overlooked the Mediterranean - perfect for an evening of refection and wine. The room was small (but not too small) but had all the features one could ask for; a comfortable bed, A/C, safe, nice bathroom and clean towels daily (we found other B&B's in Sicily that did not change the towels until the guests left), and sattelite TV with english stations. The only thing that would have been nice would have been a mini-fridge, because there's a small grocery just down the street. But we didn't really find any hotels in Sicily that offered one One nice touch that a local nearby church offered - the church bells rang every morning at 6:45. It's a lot nicer to wake up to this than an alarm clock. One last thing that we want to complement them on... A wonderful breakfast is served each morning on the terrace, overlooking the city, the sea, and Isola Bella. Their breakfast included the normal European pastries and coffee, but also cereal, boiled eggs, prosciutto, cheese, juice and fruits. The Hotel Condor is a great value.

“Great value for money!”

Although it is a 2 star hotel it is very well maintained, nice sized rooms, clean bathrooms, friendly staff. Location is also good, being near Corso Umberto - didn't feel unsafe for a second! Breakfast is also very enjoyable, good variety of bread/pastry/toast and alike, coffee/latte/cappuccino etc., plus the always prompt and kind service from the staff (the lady who served us every morning couldn't be nicer!!!). Again, don't expect a 5-star accommodation but for a two, it is unbeatable!! Would def recommend it and (who knows) hopefully return to Hotel Condor!

For a two star hotel in Taormina this is an excellent choice. Very clean, good breakfast and perfect location.

“Perfect affordable hotel!”

Memorable night spent watching the shimmering lights from Calabria (mainland Italy) against the dark mountains of the coastline, occasionally with moon shine on the Med, from a totally quiet roof top terrace. There's even bar service, up there! Breakfast is served on the terrace below, partly covered, if needed. Plenty of bread & cakes, cereal, fresh fruit daily. Rooms are simple, but adequately furnished, and unbelievably clean. Plenty of hot water from good shower. Free WiFi throughout hotel. Family running the hotel go out of their way to help with walking tour suggestions, special restaurant deals, tour bookings, cheap airport transfers etc. What more can you ask of an affordable 2 star hotel???

“Great option for the price”

This is a lovely bed and breakfast at a reasonable price in a pricey area. The room was small but adequate. The bathroom was very narrow but we don't live in the bathroom. The service was excellent. It is a cozy, lovely place to stay for the price. It was clean and there was free internet which we needed for business. It is not easy to find any of the hotels in Taormina and driving is a nightmare. Parking costs are high. Leave car in public parking at base of town (free) and take taxi to hotel if you are staying for a few days.

“Adequate at best”

The first room given was so small there was only about a foot on each side of the bed and no place to keep luggage out. Bathroom was tiny. Upgraded to bigger room for a price, which was fine. The bed was the hardest I've ever slept on. Parking was extra and was not very convenient. The people at the front desk were friendly and helpful, but not the best I've seen. The breakfast terrace was very nice, but the breakfast was just adequate. Plates were served fixed, with one piece ham and cheese and bread. Juice portions were very small. I really wanted to love this place, but didn't.

“Hôtel de charme avec une belle vue sur mer”

Très bon rapport qualité . Personnel aux petits soins qui spontanément nous a informé des événements sur place et des lieux à visiter à Taormina. Excellente situation géographique de cet hôtel- plutôt calme- à l'entrée de la ville. Petit déjeuner succulent servi sur une terrasse avec vue sur mer.
