“not impressed”

This hotel could be really great but the "can't do" attitude at the front desk spoils it. Hotel website advertises shuttle to the airport but we were then told at the reception that they don't offer this service so if you have an early flight and don't have a hire car you are forced to take an expensive taxi. No free wifi offered in the lobby area. All rooms are supposed to be non-smoking but the management do not enforce any kind of penalty to guests who do smoke in the room so it's bad look if you are given a room that has been occupied by smokers and you are non smokers as we are - the room stank like an ashtray. The air conditioning in the rooms is very poor and sheets are not changed daily even when the appropriate sign is left on the pillow (I appreciate the hotel wanting to be eco-friendly but if that's the case they should not give you the opportunity to ask for clean sheets daily). Overall a disappointing stay.

Area recommendations
The area around the hotel is pleasant with lots of nice restaurants and bars to choose from and you can easily walk to Giardini Naxos from the hotel. There is a regular local bus service to Taormina which runs until quite late in the evening. Taormina is absolutely stunning and should not be missed if you are visiting Sicily.

“Will return to Sicily.”

Lovely and very clean hotel close to Taormina on the cliff. Room was very large. Nice beach. Close to autostrata so made it easy to visit other cities.

Area recommendations
Taormina is a must see. Beautiful ancient Greek city up on a cliff overlooking the beach. Has a Gondola to go down to beaches. Massina further up the road is a beautiful city to visit.

“hotel hilton giardini naxos pecche”

La biancheria da bagno ( asciugamani sfilacciate ) non è assolutamente degna di un hotel 4 stelle! mancano salviette levatrucco, cotton fioc, pantofole da bagno. Negli USA la stessa categoria di albergo offre ben altro comfort. E' poi inammissibile che un hotel di questa categoria faccia pagare 5000 euro a persona per usufruire di ombrellone e lettino nella spiaggia riservata dello hotel stesso

Le escursioni nei dintorni: Gole Alcantara, Etna e paesini limitrofi, Castelmola e naturalmente Taormina.
