Good times

Friendly staff, very accommodating. Stayed HB but food was a little disappointing. Not that much variety in the dishes. Pretty much the same every night. It was clearly a hotel that featured in the SAGA brochures because we were the youngest there by far (aged 40). Saying this we had a wonderful stay. Would recommend.

Nice hotel overall but a few problems. Staff variable, ranging from very helpful to indifferent/unhelpful. Food not 5* quality but ranged from good to average on different days. Particularly, the desserts were poor. Aircon in room did not seem to work even when set to max. Fantastic views across the marina and hills but, outside the hotel, surrounding area is scruffy, not quite made it as an exclusive yacht club. Long walk to a small selection of shops.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Hotel staff was very attentive and service was very good compared to other hotels. Our room was very clean and very well maintained. Beautiful view of the Aeolian islands and the bays of Milazzo and Tindari. Great onsite amenities.

Great room and amenities, only grip is that breakfast didn't meet my expectations for a 5 star hotel, especially in regards to hot breakfast offerings. Other than that, great hotel.

This hotel is generally good. Food was definitely not a 5 star standard with the buffet. Go for half board as the restaurant is so much better! Swimming pool is big and spacious. Try not to arrive too early as the room will not be ready until 5pm in the afternoon. Standard hotel room is clean , and the only negative point for the room would be the shampoos and shower gels are not very good. No wifi in the room.

Not up to expected Hilton standard

Whilst this hotel appears impressive at first, it does not match the expectations of the Hilton brand. It was clean throughout and the facilities were very good, but the hotel appears to have protected its occupancy rates by attracting in tour groups from Eastern Eurpoe and much of the catering was set to suit - breakfast in particular was decidely average and coffee, a Hilton trademark in its own literature, was never offered and had to be asked for. We stayed on the 7th floor, which included a few high end suites, and were subject constantly to the smells of the kitchens for some strange reason. The lifts were out of service several times during our two day stay. Also of note is that the pool closed at 6pm, but was usually in shadow by 5.00pm. On the plus side, the hotel had an excellent private beach area with a bar and plenty of shade, and the interior public areas were impressive. The room itself was very well appointed and clean. Overall though, the stay was average due to the lack of attention to detail
