Muy buen servicio. El personal muy amable. Aunque cuando hicimos la reservación creímos que tenía restaurante el hotel y cuando llegamos resulta que no tenian. Pero todo muy bien. Si regresaría a hospedarme en Hotel Panamericana de Merida 👌😃

good location. very large rooms. this property was at one time a grand hotel. needs a little updating. Also needs to have somewhere to buy some basics etc. Overall very good value though.
This hotel is very clean and the room was spacious and comfortable. Staff was very friendly.

Renovation needed
The hotel is too old. The pictures in the website are good but when you are at the hotel there is a big difference. The bathroom is too old and in bad condition, no matter how clean it was, it didn’t feel comfortable to use it.
The lady who cleaned the room did a very very good job. I can say that she is the one that offered the great service.

I have stayed here twice in last 5 years. The property has deteriorated significantly and needs remodel and repair. Rooms are large and clean, the pool area is wonderful, (though pool is unheated), and the former restaurant are is classic and lovely. But the restaurant has not been reopened since covid, elevators were out and no one fixed while we were there. So many things need repair. Once this was a great hotel, now its former splendour is in decay

It had a swimming pool, lobby was nice and it was quiet. Other than that it was a very ill-equipped, poor-service, missing or broken amenities hotel.
No tienen agua caliente, no tienen servicio de cuarto, no tienen desayunos, instalaciones descuidadas, no tienen vasos de vidrio o platico, las toallas están viejas y no limpian bien el cuarto. En suma, fue una estancia desagradable este hotel.
This is a really a nice place, clean generally in good condition. It’s close to everything and we had our 13 pound dog with us, everyone was very friendly and good to our dog.

No free ice
Check in was superb. Doors dead bolt lock did not work. Great location, near downtown.
Bad thing was that the following morning i asked for a scoup or two of ice to maintain my insulin cool. The restaurant denied the ice unless i paid 20 pesos. Not a problem, either way i was not given the ice. Restaurant was trying to give me breakfast for one person. I had paid for two persons.i was told to go clarify with front desk. We were finally given both breakfasts. The waitress was professional. Tje mangers need training.

Overall it was an OK experience for may stay in misión Merida, the architecture in the main entrance is fascinating, which also serves as the restaurant area. Once you pass the main courtyard is the lobby which Is not as pleasing. Service was excellent we were greeted by a group of people that were friendly and very noble.

Centrally located with colonial charm.
Pretty lobby, room comfortable, courteous service. Unfortunately, there was no running water when I needed to bath at 9 am. they said a pump broke this i’m unclear if mine was a common experience.

Very nice stay in Merida. Room condition, service and responsiveness from hotel staff were absolutely great, parking was very convenient, and the location of the hotel excellent. Two minor issues encountered: 1) Water was lukewarm for an early morning shower; the staff immediately got to work to fixing that, but it would take more time (40-60 minutes) than we had at our disposal since this was an overnight stay; 2) Breakfast was OK but it could use a bit more variety.

Bear in mind that this is an old venue and things like hot water and air conditioning may not be the best you’ve had. The hot water took a LONG TIME to get warm, so the eco advantage was lost right there as gallons of water ran through before it was bearable. The air conditioner was excellent tho. Restaurant service can be surly and breakfast was sub par but all that is tolerable for a lovely spacious hotel near downtown with ample parking. School next door is noisy. Overall, location and parking make up for the detriments of this hotel.

This property is VERY old and could use lots of updating. The floor titles in my room were worn and broken in some places and the toilet didn't flush - even though we asked for it to be fixed, I ended up having to use the lobby restroom on one occasion. Also, the bottom of the shower felt a bit slimy and the floors could have been better cleaned. It was in walking distance of very nice restaurants and sight seeing though.

The staff are amazing; very friendly and accommodating. The hotel is clean and the service was great. Easy walking to explore the beautiful city as well! Would highly recommend to anyone travelling to Merida :)
