The city is beautiful and clean. People are friendly, respectful and helpful. The hotel andits service was equally amiable. Loved everything.

The only saviour is Erick Arriaga,recent front desk recruit. The others seem disinterested in their work . The parking lot does not appear to be cleaned. Trash all over. 3 star rating is too generous. No restaurants within the block and the hotel serves.mediocre breakfast.

Nice hotel with friendly staff and great location within walking distance of square and restaurants. Staff very accommodating as our checkout time was 12:00 but our bus didn’t leave till 2:47 so they kept our luggage and let us use facilities until we had to leave.

I really wanted to enjoy this hotel but I wouldn't stay here again. My toilet didn't flush, so I had to constantly fiddle with it to fill with water and reflush. It was kind of yuck. The shower was dirty when I checked in so I had to clean it with wipes I packed. It's a little bit out of the way from decent food and entertainment but not too far. The bed was SUPER comfy though. Satin bedding was not changed which included the pillow cases which is not sanitary. The rest of the cotton bedding had been changed and smelled clean and fresh. The turn down was great! Customer service was excellent and the pool/garden is gorgeous!

MOST HORRIBLE HOTEL I HAVE EVER STAYED AT, DO NOT STAY HERE!!!The reception staff were lovely is the only thing nice I can say , the foyer was clean but the rooms look clean yet the bedside lights were covered in dust, no towels, shower curtain was mouldy, states has room service, they don’t, states has a spa, they don’t, states have a swim up bar and two restaurants, they don’t its a cafe at best that is only open 7-3and the restaurant staff are very rude, don’t give you change just expect it as their tip. Awful overpriced hotel. The only exception is the receptionist Sophia whom is lovely, friendly and helpful. WORST HOTEL I HAVE EVER STAYED AT AND UNBELIEVABLY OVERPRICED,DO NOT STAY HERE

The building is beautiful and well maintained. Clean except for pool which is also cold. By the pool is an odor like sewer, not overwhelming but constant. Water in bathroom sink has sulfurous odor. They give you 2 small water bottles per day. Must pay for more. Can get twice size for same price at Oxxo. Restaurant only open until 3pm. Food quality poor. Bar not well stocked, not even decent chelada. About 3 blocks from restaurants. Closest block to hotel a little sketch. Linen quality poor. Young desk clerk helpful and friendly. Others not so much. Left early. Refund for unused days not forthcoming. Entire operation seems like they need the money.

Great location - indifferent and poor service
Missed opportunity to run a great hotel. Indifferent and borderline rude front desk staff. No help at all with any request for things or services outside of existing setup/inventory. Examples: could not provide hot water for tea; fridge in the room only for a surcharge; no bar, drinks for purchase after 3 PM; business Center not operational. We asked for a business Zoom call as public space internet was patchy, and space was loud - no privacy. Positive: convenient central location / walkable On-site free parking Swimming pool is great, but cleanliness is questionable.

For us the state of cleanliness was a non starter. The pillows were smelly, the comforters were dirty, and the towels old and quite in bad shape. The location is convenient and the hotel could be nice, I just hope they would really amp up their attention to basic things such as cleanliness and state of linen, towels, etc. Other things important but perhaps not critical… the soaps they provide are quite stinky, and there is no courtesy shampoo. The little fridge is VERY noisy. People are nice, very attentive and cordial, like all Merida people, but that was not enough to make our stay memorable

This is a favorite destination when we come to Merida. The hotel is clean, we'll appointed and comfortable. The staff are friendly and professional. The location is wonderful for accessing the attractions of Merida Centro.

Centro Merida is amazing and booming with entertainment , everything is right there for you and when you take the tours they pick you up right at your hotel ..We stayed there for five nights ...Highly recommend for the food , plenty of things to do , very affordable and very HOT ....I mean hot weather , can't wait to go back...

The hotel was very beautiful and the staff were all very helpful. I would highly recommend this for anyone wanting to enjoy Merida. Easy walking distance to restaurants, shopping and site seeing venues.

I think this property is trying to get back up &running after Covid . They seemed to only have a few staff. We never could figure out when we would be able to have a hot shower. When I would call front desk they made it sound like hot water needed to be turned on each day? Breakfast was horrible weak coffee, bad fruit , never did bring my eggs. Seemed like only one guy there doing all the work. Front desk often abandoned so no one to ask questions. Room was ok and good water pressure in shower but shower curtain too short and water went everywhere throughout bathroom. We tipped our maid each day as room was refreshed each day and it felt clean. Air conditioning was excellent, cableTV but no English channels. The manger spoke English and was very attentive desiring to help. Pool steps felt slimy as if had not been cleaned in a long time.

Worst hotel
The place looked beautiful on the pictures but once a we got there, it was like a ghost hotel. nobody else was staying there, only me. The room was dirty, dust everywhere, bathroom courtains looked like haven’t been changed in months. Tv not working. Elevator not working . Pool is not in service, full of trash. Restaurant not functional. To make the story short, they used deceiving pictures. Worse place I’ve been. I refused to stay there and decided to look for a different hotel.

Staff are great. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Great location. Guess my timing for showers was off. Only had hot water once in two days. My travelling partner had hot water every time. Overall very good.

Pool gets no sun
Do not stay here if you want a pool. Tight pool courtyard is surrounded by the 5 floor hotel on 2 sides along with beautiful but heavy foliage blocks any sun, pool not good. Other than that place is beautiful and clean.

We stayed 3 nights and had a wonderful time! It is close to all Centro activities. Starbucks is only two blocks away. For us that was a must. The staff were exceptionally helpful and kind. The atmosphere of the inner grounds is quiet and majestic with two different courtyards, the lobby and pool. They are both a wonderful place to relax, swimming or not. Our room was on the top floor (5th with elevator) so views from the balcony we're amazing. Great wheelchair accessibiIity. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to explore Merida Centro.

Only thing I didn’t like was the quality of the towels (they were old) but other than that, everything was very good: the shower and the bath tub, the rooms (they changed our beds every day); everything was clean and the staff very friendly

Description not what the hotel is. It's not a comfortable hotel. Rooms are small and sheets and bedding are cheap, not Egyptian cotton as described.
