Great location. Wonderful small boutique hotel with lots of character and very helpful personnel. Much more interesting than a standard hotel. Very nice buffet breakfast. Great base camp from which to visit bodegas/wineries and do the Gran Tour de Malbec!

I have reserved a Superior Double Room but when I arrived I was "upgraded" to an apartment, that is a double room one with a king bed and one with three singles.
Bathroom was small but bed was excellent!
Breakfast on top floor restaurant was good with an excellent city view. Across the street is the hotel parking (it wasn't mentioned on hotel description)

This is an old hotel, the bed is good, the AC was not working in my room, the bathroom is old but comfortable, the breakfast was good but no eggs in the buffet. In general for one night was just fine, but for more days i would try to look for different options.
We arrived from BA and were told by Marcelo (manager) that they were booked but they gave us one of the best rooms at Modigliani Art and Design Suites - clean, nicely decorated and close to everything. Both hotels are next to each other. Marcelo manages both and was extremely attentive. We were only there for three days and he organized 3 tours for us. Last one was very last minute. I'm fluent in Spanish but my friend is not, so he tried to get Spanish speaking guides for the tours. And after each tour he asked for feedback. We felt safe and very taken care of - I highly recommend either hotel in Mendoza. I also suggest to do the max of 3 wine tours. Marcelo suggested large and small wineries and we loved it. Second day we trekked the Andes. It is one of the most amazing places I've ever been to and will be with me forever. Third day we went to Termas de Cachueta
Muchas gracias Marcelo! Please look us up if you're ever in Chicago!!!!!
This walkable city, full of attractive parks and city plazas, is located in western Argentina at the foot of the Andes Mountains, and within Argentina's world-class wine country. Near Mendoza, rafting, skiing, hiking, and mountain climbing are options as are tours of the region's hundreds of wineries. In the evenings, Arístides Villanueva Avenue offers bars, restaurants and plenty of nightlife.
