Nice, reasonably priced hotel. Comfortable and clean. Close to bus station and a cheap taxi ride from the center. Helpful check in staff, and the free breakfast is good to have (although fairly basic). There's free WiFi which is great, although the signal is weaker in the rooms than downstairs. There's also free computers in the lobby that you can use. Only complaint was the bed, a 'matrimonial bed' but it had a crack in the middle that was uncomfortable to sleep on. Also the sheets were too small for the bed.

Park Hyatt Mendoza was a beautiful hotel in downtown Mendoza. The staff were extremely courteous and helpful and most spoke English, as my Spanish was not as good as it was before. The hotel had several restaurants or wine bars, our favorite was Q Grill. This was an excellent Parrilla and served great grilled argentine meats. The hotel also had a really nice pool and spa available for guests. One of Mendoza's many plazas ( parks) was across the street and we were in walking distance of many artesian shops.
Overall a very satisfying enjoyable stay.

The room and hotel in general were not maintained. The bathroom was missing a towel rack and toilet paper holder, which were both broken. There was an old mattress propped against the wall in the breakfast room. It looked like no one really cared to maintain the hotel. The staff was nice but mostly seemed to have the same attitude that they didn't seem to care to provide a lot of help.
After staying in hotels from no-star to 5 star during our trip, we found this one a bit unfriendly and quite regimented. Breakfast was self-serve continental and did include fruit. It is safe, clean and reasonably well-priced, but we moved after 3 days to one at half the cost. In our new hotel, Contessa on Gutierrez, the family were friendly and approachable, trying hard to meet our needs and practise their English. The bathroom was an improvement over Crillon, the room larger and the services (TV, air-con, bag check) were similar. The Crillon does take credit cards, where the Contessa did not.
