Park Hyatt Mendoza was a beautiful hotel in downtown Mendoza. The staff were extremely courteous and helpful and most spoke English, as my Spanish was not as good as it was before. The hotel had several restaurants or wine bars, our favorite was Q Grill. This was an excellent Parrilla and served great grilled argentine meats. The hotel also had a really nice pool and spa available for guests. One of Mendoza's many plazas ( parks) was across the street and we were in walking distance of many artesian shops.
Overall a very satisfying enjoyable stay.

I spent just two nights in Mendoza, and if I had acted earlier would have stayed at a hostel, but through Expedia chose the Internacional because it was the cheapest. Cons: I didn't really understand what the deal was with the A/C (I think they're centrally controlled), but the ceiling fan did a well job cooling. The TV made a weird noise sometimes Pros: Just a couple of blocks from the Plaza Independencia and the bustle, more pillows than I ever used, daily toiletry replacement, helpful staff, free internet, and although I didn't make use of the breakfast, the dining area was clean. Basically I just had nitpicky problems and this place is great. Some have complained about small room size, but what are you really going to do in there that you need running-around room? It's Mendoza, get outside!
While this hotel is not flash or new, the friendly staff and great location make amends. We travelled with our 2 children aged 5 and 2 and the hotel staff could not have been more helpful. The pool and outdoor area are lovely and the breakfast serves the purpose. Great value.

Great stay at a great hotel. The concierge was very helpful, the room was clean and comfortable, and the staff was friendly. I booked a great private wine tour through the concierge and his recommendations were great. If you don't know where to begin on the wine tour, I would recommend booking a tour and then asking the advice of the driver. My driver knew the best places for food with wine and had friends at many of the wineries. I did three wineries in a day, and I don't know that I could have done a fourth. The concierge was also very helpful in arranging a dinner reservation at an outstanding restaurant nearby.
