It was marvellous to stay at the hotel. We had dinner the evening of our stay in the restaurant and the food was delicious and although pricey, the portion sizes we generous. Our room was upgraded and the night was peaceful. Breakfast in the morning was again wonderful and we would definitely recommend this hotel to couples wanting to celebrate a special occasion. Although the concierge apologised, the condition of the hotel was not 'superb' because they were refurbishing the furnishings.

We arrived mid afternoon booked in very quickly and easily . We were shown the dining room for breakfast. Our bedroom was warm and inviting with a large ensuite. The staff were very attentive. Breakfast was amazing with so much choice including fresh fruit. We would stay there again.

I stayed at the Shaw Country Hotel for 1 night on a business trip recently. The hotel is a good quality private hotel with very pleasant staff.
On arrival there was one very small issue that I spoke to the reception staff about, within 5 minutes the owner of the establishment came to my room, apologised (for something that was outside of his control) and took immediate steps to rectify the situation.
All in all a very pleasant stay in a well run hotel that I would thoroughly recommend to others.
