“Best hotel in Carlton”

Really great view,silent environment and really friendly staff.Room service is perfect.

“Good value”

I stayed at the Vibe Carlton when visiting my son who lives nearby. The location was a little out of the city in the university district but excellent tram links meant an easy journey to the city. There is a restaurant on site which looked nice and reasonable value but I didn't use it.There is a good selection of shops just a short walk away.I would stay here again.

This was our second time at the Vibe Carlton. The location is good. Only a short tram ride from the city and short walk to Brunswick shopping centre which has some good eateries. The tram is just outside the door, which can be an issue with some noise if your room is on the front of the building. Room very nice and clean, although we stayed 3 nights and the floor did not appear to have been vacuumed each day.

“Good value for what I paid”

The rooms are stylish and clean. I was given a room next to the pool and it was quite quiet from road noises, but I could see how it might get loud with any parties in the complex, as there are a lot of large windows on the rooms. In a winter quiet time, it was great and 15-20 min to Melbourne Uni where I was working. I found the bed comfortable. Internet is very expensive there and you have a very small desk--I did not do much work there, and cannot imagine how you would. It has nice work out area, spa, pool is not heated.

This hotel was the best one I have stayed in for a long time, only wish had known about it before the start of my trip, everything was spot on the best

For some one from interstate, it was economical accommodation in a great location for access to the city and all tourist attractions. It was convenient to catch the city tram outside the front door.

Very clean and pleasant rooms, looking forward to staying again on a hot day and making the most of the pool.

It was within easy acess to the tram line into city centre. Would use thia hotel again.

“Well situated”

Vibe is well situated in that it is close to the city of Melbourne and public transport if you don't have a car. The rooms are comfortable and clean. Unfortunately, the restaurant is to be avoided at all costs. The menu is very limited, the food of poor quality and very over-priced. Much safer to dine elsewhere!

“Pleasant stay”

Have stayed at the Vibe many times, is easy to navigate to and has a car park (now has a fee) Various room standards but all comfortable and clean on arrival. Tram stops close to Hotel, so an ideal North City base. A quality hotel with most amenities but without the upmarket extra's and price.
