Overall the hotel was great, my room had a desk. Shower was great but the bathroom was a tiny bit dated / battle scarred, it was still good, the room itself was excellent. King bed was two single beds stuck together, which I don't like, and wish it wasn't a thing. Only two complaints were, the noise from being directly next to the station, it wasn't horrible, and I was fine with it, but it was still there. At 3pm I struggled to find a coffee shop in the immediate vicinity and needed to walk a little bit.

The stay was average - wish they made up the beds and hoovered each day. Lights /aircon was not working - then eventually started working. When requested to look into it - they did test aircon.

TV and room phone didn't work. Stayed 4 nights placed do not disturb on door once and was awoken at 8:30 to clean on another morning and the other two nights no clean at all, so no clean in 4 nights stayed. Bit disappointed.

Last year I wrote a more negative review, but I am pleased to say the property has improved and in particular the wifi seems to have been upgraded, whereas it was poor last year.

We did arrive early and our room wasn’t quite ready (which was fine) and that they would call as soon as ready we did all paperwork at this time. No phone cal. Went back to the room at 3pm and had to wait 30 minutes as check in queue was out the door.

Great value for money, staff very helpful and friendly, room very comfy, clean and quiet. Easy to get to from Southern Cross station and handy to Docklands precinct and city transport. Will definitely stay again.

Liked the room and the convenience of the locality. Size was just right. Didn't like the doona. It was too hot. It encourages people to turn the air con to cold so you aren't too hot but that wastes electricity. We took it off and had a light jacket for Annie as she feels the cold more than Phil.
