“Might have the stars but definately not the service of a 5 star hotel.”

Several poor service misshaps and a somewhat dated decor would see me never returning to the COMO. Great location but thats about it. Stayed at the Olsen last time which was just fabulous. Como definately not worth its price tag.

Area recommendations

South Yarra was a great location. Fabulous shoppping down Chapel street with pleanty of great restaurants to choose from. Easy access on the tram to the city, 10 min Taxi to Richmond or Southbank.

“Pleasure in Melbourne”

Although the hotel practically perfect, the real stars of this hotel are the staff. I have never experienced such helpful and friendly staff anywhere else.

“Como”

Great position and room size. However decor a bit tired. Better to eat from one of the restuarants in the area than at the hotel.

Excellent facilities big kitchen and if you get one bedroom the lounge has heaps of room for little ones.
