“Fantastic Location, Friendly Staff”

“The Rendezvous Hotel, Melbourne”

The hotel has a superb location, almost exactly opposite Flinders St. station, and just 5 minutes walk from Fed Square and the central shopping district. Our rooms were very comfortable - the air con worked well, beds were large and comfy. Would have been nice to have had in-room WiFi (although this was available in the lobby) and to have been able to open the windows. Not much of a view to speak of from our room (which overlooked Flinders St.) but this didn't really matter as we were out and about most of the time we were there. Overall we had an excellent stay; the hotel fulfilled our requirements which were essentially to have a great location for the centre of the city and to give us easy access to the MCG and Fed Square.

“fantastic!”

This is a great, modern hotel right in the centre of Melbourne. Its really accessible to all the major sights, with the free City Circle Tram departing from right outside. I found my room clean and spacious with a comfortable bed and decent sized bathroom. The staff were all friendly and courteous. In fact I did not meet any staff who were in any way other than extremely helpful. I found the cost very reasonable and would stay again. I didn't eat at the hotel so cannot comment on this. If you do visit Melbourne go to the Gaol: its great fun! Also there are fantastic bars along alley ways that you would never normally travel down! Go and explore!

“Rendezvous Hotel, Dec.'11”

I felt at home at the Rendezvous, with a very comfortable room, very quiet with privacy. Very friendly helpful staff and good quality and good value food.

“Bad service and Rude management”

The receptionist was rude and arogant and accused me of taking an adapter. the manageress didn't come and see me to express my views about him.
