“Excellent location, easy access to lots of attractions”

I stayed in a 1 bedroom apartment, the room was lovely, the door slammed loudly, and the washingmachine/dryer combo was a nightmare to work. The room offered lovely features but only catered for two and I did specificly book for 3, 2 cups 2 plates 2 towels.Other than this I would stay there again, it was a great base for myself and my teenage daughter, we trammed and hoofed it around town

“Great Location, Good Amenities”

The Mantra 100 is in a FANTASTIC location. Close to trams and buses and everything you could want right out your door - theatres, shopping, the train station, Federation Square, everything in the CBD. After a small traditional hotel room, it was nice to have the space and amentities of an apartment style room - ie. kitchen, in-room laundry facilities, separate lounge and bedroom areas. The hotel is clean, but not impecable. The front desk staff were very helpful and friendly, the house staff did not speak english very well, so when I had problems with the in room washer/dryer unit, they were unable to help, but they did ensure someone came to the room to sort it out. Limited cutlery and dishes in the kitchen, would expect atleast service for 4, but after nothing, we made do! Would definately stay there again.

“Perfect for a city stay”

Excellent friendly & efficient service - I showed up a couple of hours before check-in due to flights & was very pleasantly surprised that a room was quickly found and I was able to check in with no dramas. Very spacious self contained apartment - felt even roomier because of the high ceilings. As a frequent traveller it ticked all the main boxes - extremely quiet, good block out from the morning sun with a sliding door across the bedroom, great location with shops and trams only a couple of steps away. Not fantastic for business if you're needing to work on your laptop as no work desk and the kitchen table was too far from any powerpoint but you could make do with the couch and a coffee table. Only minor criticisms - not much room in the bathroom for toiletries & the clock radio in the bedroom was overly bright like a lamp shining! However, I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

“Not impressed reception desk people rude and arrogant”

I read the reviews before I booked, apartments are quite small for family of 5 only one bathroom, furniture in lounge room needs cleaning. Stayed in apartment on Exhibition Street quite noisy on weekdays with office people going to work . Was charged to park our car in the hotel carpark wasn't very impressed.

What a great hotel, exactly what we wanted. The staff were extremely helpful. The room as a great design and a perfect size for the two of us. We would definitely stay at Mantra 100 again, actually this is the 3rd Mantra we have stayed in in Melbourne and they have all been excellent.

“Great location and value”

We enjoyed our stayed at Mantra Exhibition. The room was ready for our arrival and serviced everyday. Our only gripe, is that the room did not have a coffee plunger, and the shower leaked water from the tap. Close to Spring St to connect with trams.

Hotel location made it easy to go shopping on foot. Room well laid out and appointed. If more organized could have breakfast and other meals in room. I chose to walk to excellent local cafes for toast and fabulous coffee for breakfast and fabulous Carlton for other meals.
