Suger Café - Open breakfast, lunch and early dinner you will be served scrumptious Genovese coffee and mouthwatering treats by friendly baristas and wait staff who can not only fill that hole in your tummy (or gap in your schedule) but can also point you in the right direction for what’s on in the local St Kilda area. Treat them like your personal little black books – they’ve got the info!

Suger Bar - Open evenings, this little nook is a bar with a heart perfect for cosy one on ones and getting yourself in the mood for your night ahead. It also makes a great space for private parties but you’ll need to book if you want to snap it up (make this a booking link).

Curious Restaurant - Open for breakfast only, Curious restaurant has been touted as having the best breakfast in St Kilda by many locals (we’re not bragging, just passing on the message so you don’t miss out).

“Highly recommended”

Very well trained and intelligent staff. Personal attention from the manager down. Conveniently situated in a nice suburb and with three convenient tram routes just across the road.

Getting around

With the Metcard travel within the city could not be easier or more affordable. Hope the City does not ditch this system for the Myki card which is not suitable for visitors.

“Great place to unwind”

This was our second stay at Hotel Urban. We are extremely satisfied with the friendly customer service that was provided. The beds are amazing and my husband and I look forward to staying there because of this reason.

“Good hotel, but a bit noisy”

No complaints at all with the Hotel location, staff, or facilities. Only real issue was noise level in the rooms. The doors don't block much noise at all, as it seemed we could hear everything that was going on along the entire hallway that our room was located on. Also had a bit of noise from the street. It wasn't really a problem that kept us from sleeping at night, but it was a bit distracting to hear every conversation that anyone had while they were walking down the hallway outside our room. As I said, though, the location is very good -- close to lots of good restaurants and shops in St. Kilda, and right on the trolley line that takes you straight into downtown Melbourne. And the staff was very pleasant and helpful. We enjoyed our stay.

“Excellent Service”

We were extremely impressed with the Hotel Urban St. Kilda. The rooms are large, great when you have lots of baggage. The location is fantastic; near the beach, with lots of restaurants in the area, and a tram outside the door. We would definitely stay here again. Very friendly and helpful staff too!

“Very nice, but pricey”

This hotel is in a nice location, close to the pier, many restaurants and bars. The price of the room and breakfast was quite pricey. You might want to look around for some other options.

“Comfy stay in a funky location”

Loved this hotel from the minute we walked in. The reception staff could not have been more friendly or helpful. They gave us some excellent shopping tips! The location is great for a stroll along the waterfront and close to lots of nightspots. Just around the corner from the fabulous Acland St - close to the tram stops - the location was just terrific. Loved the hotel decor - which was fresh and interesting. The interior of the lift is particularly great! The beds were comfy, the bathroom roomy with a good long shelf and there were bathrobes in the wardrobe. Thoroughly enjoyed my short stay and would love to go back again.

“An Urban Gem”

This is a fantastically located hotel on the main strip in St Kilda. Concerns that it might be noisy at night due to all the surrounding pubs and restaurants were unfounded and the staff were very helpful, and really friendly. Room was a good size and very well equipped. Highly recommended.

“使い勝手のよいホテル”

今回、St Kildaにて学会があり宿泊しました。 St Kildaの中心街に位置しロケーションは申し分なし。スタッフも聞けば気軽に色々教えてくれました。インターネットは無料で使用環境は問題なし。海外で使用するのは初めてでしたが、驚くほど簡単にアクセスできました。 1階にはレストランが二つ。通りに面して、オープンカフェにもなります。ホテル内は全面禁煙ですが、オープンカフェではOKです。部屋は2Fコーナーで、シンプルで少し大きめ。窓からの眺めは、住宅地でした。壁が薄いのか、隣の声がよく聞こえてきました。
